Here's one of mine as an example:

The Blight

Addons: Compound Twenty-One, Chipped Monocle

Perks: Lightborn, Shadowborn, Barbecue and Chilli, Enduring

A build focused around an addict using things that you get addicted to, and feel naked without.

    Jkjkjkjk. I unfortunately don't have many survivors so don't really have a non meta build but if I were to run one it would be: lithe, dance with me, quick and quiet, iron will for the ultimate bamboozle

    Oh, that's absolutely my "Focus on making Hex: Devour Hope work" build.

    Just H: DH, and Perks that focus on keeping it alive and granting it strength.

    Survivor: The pallet saver

    1. Windows of Opportunity
    2. Any Means Necessary
    3. Iron Will
    4. Open-Handed

    Killer: Speeeeed

    Play as Blight with the two movement speed addons and probably bring some map offerings.

    1. Play With Your Food
    2. Brutal Strength
    3. Fire Up / Hex: NOED
    4. Hex: Devour Hope

    Edit: Another Survivor build: Ultimate stealth

    Probably bring a map offering with places you can jump from.

    1. Quick and Quiet / Calm Spirit
    2. Balanced Landing
    3. Iron Will
    4. Fixated

    Any Means Necessary, Repressed Alliance, Pebble, Fixated/Kindred. If I'm not running meta perks I like to use the perks that give the game new kinds of mechanics to work with.

    I'm hoping the devs release a perk so that I can break breakable walls. That'd be cool (not sure about balance wise though idk). Then I'll be able to lift up pallets, block gens, throw pebbles AND break walls. Fun.

    Musical Hooks: Hook the obsession. If the first survivor you run into doesn't happen to be the obsession then eat a pallet. Then play musical hooks with survivors as the unhooker becomes the obsession and gets exposed.

    1. Nemesis
    2. Furtive Chase
    3. Make Your Choice


    Potato Sack Race: Goal is to see how many times you can knock down survivors while carrying a survivor.

    1. Agitation
    2. Iron Grasp
    3. Mad Grit
    4. Last perk is your pick but I'd go with something that gives exposed.

    I don't really care which Killer it works best on, cause even if i knew, i'd play Wraith anyway.

    • Hex: Undying
    • Pop Goes The Weasel

    A "Windstorm" or 2 would be absolutely recommended, to speed over to your Hex Totems if necessary.

    B&C to locate your next victim, which will be another incentive to leave the 24-meter radius of H: DH.

    H: U to revive H: DH from unlucky spawns, the fact that it removes Tokens isn't as big of a blow as it may seem.

    PGTW for some slowdown and reward for going away from the Hook.


    Btw, of course i'm not expecting it to work all the time.

    Heck, people love cleansing once they know Devour Hope is present, so it'll still work less than it will.

    But i play the meme build for those times where it does work.

    It feels so nice to be rewarded for "playing nice by not slugging & camping", though i never do those things anyway cause they bore me.

    Add-ons: Calm and Order.

    Make them scream more than a basic chick watching Paranormal Activity. All the screaming all the time.

    Op said non meta perks, and fire up is extremely overpowered and busted, so it doesn't count.

    How to annoy a killer:

    It’s name: “Instead of flashlight” build

    Bring an Alex tool box with the wench and wire spool or Commodious tool box with wench and saw

    •Break out

    •Empathy

    •Saboteur

    •Built to last

    *Just go around sabotaging hooks when the killer gets close and running away to safety/another hook or taking a hit to help your teammate “break out” ;), repeat until you are killed yourself for being toxic (which you deserve) or leave. I suggest in this build to not be the first one hooked.
