Stats through 100 games of Crossplay
I've compiled some statistics through 100 games of Crossplay. Obviously, these statistics are pretty meaningless because the number of games isn't nearly large enough to be represenative. I'd like to change that, so if anyone is interested in keeping track of their own stats, that'd be much appreciated. But it's quite a bit of work, so I understand why people might not be interested.
Honestly, these are just fun stats to go through, and think about. Of note, I did NOT include my own survivor perks in the perk list, as that would skew the stats toward my build (Which is usually Kindred, Iron Will, Spine Chill and either Detective's Hunch, We'll Make It, or Borrowed Time.) Obviously Jeff's don't have a 100% escape rate, it's just the few Jeff's I ran into (all two of them) managed to escape.
All games were while I was Red or Purple Rank. I did not include a game if the killer or survivor disconnected so as not to skew the kill stats in favor of DC's. (Of which there are likely many. Had 3 people all DC in a game just a little bit ago as matter of fact.)

Other Notable Stats
- 12 uses of Hex: No One Escapes Death led to only 7 extra kills, an average of .58 kills per use of the perk
- 9 people brought keys. Only 3 people escaped using those keys.
- Only 16 people escaped through the hatch (including the 3 with keys)
- 451 Generators were completed, for an average of 4.51 generators finished per trial

- 6 survivors brought styptics
- 8 survivors brought syringes
- 8 survivors died to a Mori
- On Average, the Killer earned 23,392.99 Bloodpoints
- On Average, survivors (not including me) earned 17,961 Bloodpoints
- On Average, survivors (including me) earned 18,328 Bloodpoints
- On Average, I earned 19,428 Bloodpoints
- Worst Killer BP was a Pyramid Head who earned only 9085 Bloodpoints. He used Lead Ring and Copper Ring on Family Residence.
- Worst Survivor BP was a Cheryl who earned 1625 Bloodpoints against a Spirit on Ironworks of Misery with Prayer Beads and Wakizashi Saya and a Mori. The Cheryl only had one perk: Repressed Alliance.
- Average Killer Rank: 4.91
- Average Survivor Rank: 5.13
Again, these stats don't say too much one way or another as they're only representative of my experience on the US East Coast, and the number of games are truly low. So they should be taken with large amounts of salt. But given we're on the DBD forums, there's always plenty of salt to go around.

Funny how the desired 2K happened the least to you.
9 -
One of the problems with DbD is that the killer getting one hook before or after any gens are done is usually the main determining factor for which side will win. The early game is simply too impactful.
8 -
It is interesting to see how Trapper, Doctor, Blight and Nurse are on the bottom in the Kill Rate. Even though these killer are average or above, their higher than usual skill cap is very apparent with the MMR being down.
I am VERY surprised to see Spine Chill being used that much, it is a very strong perk but it is usually underrated by most people. This is a pretty low sample size which may be the reason, but interesting nonetheless.

I'm surprised the Spirit is only seen 2% of the time now... that and also Meg is seen more than Claudette. Of course this is a player made statistic but still, to only see Spirit 2% of the time is odd, while Claudette is usually seen the most from my experience. I also find it funny that Myers was seen more than Ghostface in this, despite a lot of people saying Ghostface is better than Myers.
Though it was only 100 games, if it was like 500 or 1000 than I wonder what the stats would be then.
1 -
Yeah, though the average kill rate is around 48%, which would be about 2 kills per match. Which is right around where they want it.
I should probably also add a few notes:
- 11 killers used no add-ons at all
- 14 survivors used Decisive Strike and Unbreakable together. Of those 14, 10 escaped (71% escape rate)
- 46 out of 94 Decisive Strike users escaped (48.93% escape rate)
- I faced 1 Huntress with an Iri Head and Infantry Belt and a Mori. She got a 0K, but didn't get her first hook until 4 gens were done. She didn't use her Mori, obviously. Her perks were: Unrelenting, Whispers, Monstrous Shrine, and Iron Grasp. The map was Suffocation Pit. Ash had a key that round, but he did not use it. (Probably why she equipped Iri Head and a Mori, and probably saved it for him but did not get him in time. But that's just pure speculation)
- Only two killers got a perfect 32,000 BP over 100 games. Wraith on Disturbed Ward with Bone Clapper and Blind Warrior - White, with Hex: Ruin, Hex: No One Escapes Death, A Nurse's Calling and Make Your Choice. None of us brought Items and there was no Decisive Strike. The second was Freddy on Coal Tower with Outdoor Rope and prototype claws. His perks were all Freddy's personal perks, Fire Up, Remember Me and Blood Warden so I'm guessing he was going for his adept. No Decisive Strike that game, either.
I definitely hope to keep adding to this. Should be interesting to see how things change over the next 100 games.

Wait, why even have an escape rate when you've already got an appearance rate? People who aren't reading into the states will think "oh man, Jeff is escaping 100% of the time! These Jeff players are super skillful!"
But in reality Jeff only appeared in .67% of matches. So, the two Jeff's escaped from their matches, woo! ...? What is that supposed to tell us?? Seriously.
2 -
Nobody should care about the opinions of people too dumb to parse the stats without coming to ridiculous conclusions.
5 -
Seriously?
Did you not even open the spreadsheet? Jeff appeared TWO times and escaped both times. How is that a ridiculous conclusion, where was I wrong in that statement.
0 -
I think Spirit is probably low on the list because I didn't count games where survivors dc'ed, and a lot of survivors DC when they see Spirit.
You don't have to read the stats. Nobody is forcing you to.
2 -
You didn't come to a ridiculous conclusion, I was talking about your theoretical person who isn't reading into the stats. I mean, in his very post it says:
"Obviously Jeff's don't have a 100% escape rate, it's just the few Jeff's I ran into (all two of them) managed to escape."
If someone is just disregarding the entire post to read random stats, and then coming to wild conclusions based on that, I don't really care what they think.
6 -
Could you possibly upload this as a regular Google Sheet link? I'd like to make a copy so I can start tracking my own stats.
1 -
My favorite part is the fact that 1k's and 4k's are more common than 2k's or 3k's
4 -
I disagree with this. Early game is the least impactful part of the match. Set up killers almost always lose a gen before their first hook, and a killer who gets a lot of pallets dropped early is in a pretty good position. Killers always have a chance to come back and snowball a victory. The same is not true for survivors.
0 -
Why would he remove information for that though. Who decides whats enough information and whats not anyway, would 3 games of data be enough?5?10? Removing it would just be needless inconsistency.
Also you shouldn't be taking people who are incapable of reading 2 number and making a deduction as a reference on what information you should keep and what you should cut out.
Wait you should have included those somehow, that is HUGE. Most newer players are less likely to DC for anything, SWF usually leave more than solo queue players do. Removing games with DCs is would change the stats a LOT. You should have made more sections for those games.
1 -
Hell yeah, that Wraith!
They were very wise to bring MYC! 😉
0 -
Jeez, for a second I was really miffed for no good reason because it sounded like you got super aggressive toward what was a valid statement.
Although I did miss that bit, that being said I think it's understandable considering when one is reading through long posts like these one tends to skim. I don't think anyone can fault me for that.
Well, I did. Soooo....... What are you asking me to do here exactly?
0 -
I think you should count every game if we're talking appearance or other factors that go with it, since you technically still saw them in a match regardless if someone DC'ed or not.
You could also just split it up to include them in one list and not include them in another, but if you hypothetically did another list with 500 or 1000 matches, than that would've taken a lot longer. Just a suggestion though.
0 -
Very cool, thank you for sharing! I always love reading these.
It would have been cool to see the DC rates against killers, though. I imagine stronger killers like Nurse, Spirit and Freddy have higher DCs.
Also I don't think you included Hag's appearance percent.
0 -
I mostly don't count them for consistency purpose. If a Killer DC's at 1 gen done, that skews the gens stats as well as average BP. I may keep separate stats on DC's for the future, though. I'm mostly interested in survivor and killer performance, especially when it comes to certain maps. What maps do killers perform best on? What maps do survivors? How do they perform when they don't have an unintentional advantage like a survivor rage quitting.
I mean there's a LOT of stuff I'd love to keep track of but have no method of doing so. How often do survivors heal? How many totems get broken each match? How often does Decisive Strike get used? How often does someone with unbreakable pick themselves up? How long does the average chase last? How long does the average match last? It's stuff I'd love to see BHVR release if they are able to.
2 -
This ties up with my experience as well. This game is super snowbally, the winner is typically whoever can start snowballing progress first. 2Ks usually only happen if neither side can really get any momentum going.
2 -
should probably state, server and an estimated time you play at. i notice at different times i verse different killers more and on different servers theres even more of a difference. but this must of taken ages so props for that
0 -
Good stuff but we need to know your platform and rank to make heads or tails of this.
0 -
Oh great. It's this logic that causes survivors to dc at first hook. Survivors always have a chance to come back as long as they're not dead. The whole strength of killers comes from their ability to pressure survivors. It's actually possible to clear that pressure and essentially reset the match back to near the beginning. Albeit you'll be down hook states.

This right here is the list of killer perks that need worked on obviously. I'm going to add Monstrous Shrine to the list too and ask the question "what dummy used that perk?".
3 -
Yeah, many of those killer perks need some buffs. Retribution and Thrill of the Hunt are pretty much useless now that Undying is here. The one person who used Monstrous Shrine was an Iri Head Huntress with Infantry belt. Stridor is pretty good though, especially on Spirit.
0 -
Yeah, Stridor servers a purpose I suppose. I've used Nemesis and Furtive Chase in conjunction with Make Your Choice and that can be kind of fun or if you have a challenge to hook or kill your obsession then they serve a purpose. The point I was really getting at is that the perks that are never played or incredibly rarely played are that way for a reason. Experiments like this just serve the purpose of pointing those things out.

I just want to take a moment to appreciate the beautiful irony of PH being so played yet so low in the killrate...

As a PS4 survivor main I used crossplay from the moment it started. I turned it off due to one stat in particular a couple weeks ago. The amount of matches I was in that were nothing but slugfests went way way up with crossplay. I tried for awhile thinking it would even back out. It never did. Turned off crossplay and I now experience far less slugging. An added and surprise bonus has been that my lobby times are better than they have ever been now.
Note: Before someone decides to read into this and act as if I'm saying something I didn't say.... I did not say slugging was unfair. I didn't call for slugging to be banned. I didn't call for it to be nerfed. I understand slugging is a legitimate tool in the arsenal of killers, but as a survivor main if I can do something to reduce the amount of matches I participate in that are nothing but slugfests I will gladly do so.
0 -
Taking notes on one match was hard... 99 more to do
Player stats would be good
But take it with a gain (or two) of salt when the stats aren't what you wanted
