Plague Native-Tongue/Mori Language?
I know for a fact that this is a previous post on this site but only one dead thread exists on it. I know the devs have left the interpretation of plague's language completely up to the community to decipher but as a self-proclaimed vommy-mommy fan I would be really interested to know what she says during her Mori. Was wondering if there were any language wonks who could shine some insight into what she says, if what she is saying isn't just completely a made-up language entirely.

It's not a made up language. I remember people saying it's Babylonian iirc.
If I had to guess it's something akin to asking if this sacrifice pleases her god, and then she vomits all over them.

Akkadian, I believe - which is technically a collective term for Babylonian and Sumerian, if I remember right.
Edit: Nope, it's the collective term for Babylonian and Assyrian. Halfway there.

Akkadian has been fully deciphered from its cuneiform, right?

I think so. We've tried to decipher her speech before, but weren't able to. The tablet in her temple refers to "God", though: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dingir

Yes I remember you! That thread was incredible and had so much dedication. I recently have been doing my own research and have been desperately trying to bring more attention to it!

I had originally thought that it was some version of Latin, but it looks like I was wrong!
