The Sydney Prescott beggers and Nerf Freddys of Twitter
Every single time I see Behavior post on twitter, there is a small group of people who act like complete turd farmers and just post "nerf Freddy" or "add Sydney Prescott" or some other survivor that nobody cares about. They also act surprised when people give them crap for posting the same exact thing on EVERY tweet. Stupid and annoying, anybody in the forum's come across these bottom feeders?

No, it's mostly the people that go out of their way to shame and bellittle them, thus giving them more attention and fuelling what they themselves consider a problem instead of simply letting it slide, that I see. It's especially funny when they call them names and don't see the irony in that they are trying to get attention by feeding on the existence of these so-called "bottom feeders."

Thing is this: Sydney would be a licensed character. GF is NOT the guy from Scream. BHVR would have to purchase a new license for Sydney, which means more costs.
It's bad enough that PH (konami) is in the game. Not because of the killer and what came with him, think about the SH cahpter what you may, but because konami is notorious for being really nasty when it comes to selling and handling licenses. it's not too far-fetched to say that a lot of the 'everything's on the payed rift now and there are so many overpriced linked cosmetics' is an effect of purchasing the SH licenses.

It's such a weird way to spend your time, though. Do they wake up every morning looking forward to new tweets from Bhvr they can spam? What do they do on the weekends when there's no tweets at all?

I do know konami is a bad partnership obviously we know what they did to Kojima,and it surprises me that bhvr would deal with them,but pyramid head is a great addition nonetheless and one of my favorite characters, so I commend bhvr for this and they have my eternal customership for it.This one game character opens up a door for someone else to come through wink wink
The paid rift thing though probably has nothing to do with SH most games now have a rift pass it's just the way of growth for games to give back to the community and make some extra cash as long as thier actually purchasable nothing wrong with spending 10 dollars for more than less you know you're not obligated to buy these passes for a few extra nic nacs right.

Yeah I don't know why they do that,maybe they think spamming will gain attention which it can,but with the community managers and the the mods I'm pretty sure the dev's are aware what and who people want on here ,we just have to wait for a sign of light but spamming can annoy people so should probably stop.

This game makes enough money off of cosmetic purchases alone to handle costs like that not even counting the DLC that cost 8 dollars a pop , if anything the amount of people buying the new content when it drops is enough, if they put someone as iconic as sidney in the game it would immediately sell it's a no brainer , personally I would like to see pinhead in the game as the next licensed killer but saying that licensing costs too much money when they're dropping 10 dollar skins like it's nothing , if only 100,000 people bought a 10 dollar skin when it dropped that's still a million dollars they've gained for a skin that arguably isn't even worth the 10 dollars you paid for it

It's wrong when the vocal minority that want her in the game spam Twitter posts all day everyday. That kind of stuff only serves to hurt their chances of ever having her in the game, as proven by the last dev stream.

Trying to get attention by telling a spammer to stop? If someone was consistently poking your face irl would you not tell them to stop? People I see shaming and belittling them are also usually responding to the Prescott people acting like an absolute douche to them, not saying it's right, but it's a response to toxic behavior. They breed a toxic environment and intentionally try to piss others off.

Well considering the game in 2017 alone made 202 million SEK which translates to around 25 million and some change US dollars before they even had a real cosmetic store I would say that number is alot higher with the growth rate of the game plus every new skin being 10 dollars a pop, new DLCs , and also new players coming to the game and new platforms etc.. it's not hard to imagine that this game could be averaging at least double that with the rate the game has been growing over the last 3 years and sure they have to pay their employees along with that but even in this time they've grown so much as a company and added employees so they obviously aren't strapped for cash at the time being and even covid probably helped more than hurt with people being home playing the game more

Edit: watched it and they didn't shot it down at all. If anything they probably made it worse by saying it will help get the attention of the license holder which is true. I say just ignore those ones. Just block them or whatever and eventually they'll disappear. People will request their favs not matter what. Let them as it will bring them happiness. But ya just block them if you can't stand them.

I do not read those kind of post but i can say that i give a ######### about sidney prescott to be in game (i had to google who she was). The popular character is ghostface and we have him.

It isn't the same. If someone was poking me in the face irl, they clearly don't care if I tell them to stop or not, since in every culture such behaviour is frowned upon or forbidden.
Drawing attention to this crap is the stupidest way to deal with it, especially if you are belittling and insulting them. If someone was poking me in the face, I'd grab their finger. If someone wouldn't stop talking to me, an actual and direct comparison, I would ignore them til they left. The thing you are supposed to do because it works.

ok adding ghostface with out adding Sydney Prescott was the dumbest thing ever,I bet ghostface was a Scream chapter at first why two reason ghostface mori had a cellphone in it and changed last min to camera and one of his perk name was also changed.but I'm sure something fell through but I bet they are sitting on Sydney Prescott model but can't release it right now also bet they are waiting for Scream 5 because neve campbell going to be in it as Sydney Prescott.

Your logic is all over the place:
DBD GF is not Scream GF. What made the costume (based on Munch's THE SCREAM) popular is irrelevant. What Scary Movie parodies is irrelevant. If the right holders for Scary movie decide that BHVR can use cindy and brenda and the actresses/their representatives greenlight using their likeness, it doesn't matter what the right-holders of scream say.

It doesn't matter what made ghostface popular. The scream copyright holders don't have control over the COSTUME. They DO have control over Sydney, but NOT over the Costume or Cindy or Brenda.

I do, I care about twitter. Lots of people follow the game devs on twitter. It gets depressing when every single post is hijacked by 3 or 4 people screaming (pun intended) about Prescott and other people that a large chunk of the player base just don't want in the game. Why should bhvr cater to the vocal minority?
If people wanted Sydney, those posts on twitter wouldn't get ratio'd so bad every time. The vast majority of people are just annoyed by the Prescott "queens" acting like spoiled kids in the Twitter posts from Bhvr. They also called those people out in their last dev stream, it was fantastic.
