Apparently there's another PS4 Theme...
So now we have another bundle for PS4 that contains the base game + the Stranger Things,Darkness Among Us,Shattered Bloodline,Curtain Call chapters and a new Theme for PS4.
So i want to know,why is BHVR punishing the players that supported this game and already bought every DLC?
I just don't get it.They didn't learn from the Silent Hill chapter did they?
Me and many other players were waiting years to get something like this and now we have to pay like 32€ just to get this theme?
Why shouldn't we be able to buy it seperately?

But you have to buy the bundle? That's crazy. Because if it was standalone then I would definitely get it.

Greed. BHVR knows that the community will gobble up pretty much anything they throw at them and they know that themes are a highly requested feature. I saw this coming all the way back in June 2018 with the launch of the cosmetic shop. Then the Rift came out with its tedious grind and only had a paywall as an alternative. Now we have highly requested features being locked behind entire special editions of the game. By 2023, I'm expecting BHVR to have done something that makes them worse than companies like Activision. The fact that the Stranger Things theme is exclusive to a bundle tells me that the Silent Hill one sold well, and that scares me.
Also, did you look at the description of the Stranger Things Edition? The theme is described as a PS5 (not PS4) theme. While this could be a typo, it could also mean that certain PS4 themes are getting PS5 versions (I actually made a thread about this and the theme being exclusive the day the Stranger Things edition released).

This is where my problem with the devs kick in. They are quite happy to answer things that are easy to answer. Yet when it comes to questions like these they just bury their heads in the sand.

I haven't seen any new themes or avatars for months.
It's always the same jacked Anonymous hacker with gun and anime tiddies themes they sell on phones. Manufactured bullshit with no thought put into it other than Clown that vaguely looks like Joker sparking the need to mindlessly consume.
All the DBD character protraits would look great.

there slient hill one too with it own bundle and yes this suck tho who got the chapter in the sony store should also get it the theme I mean we can't even buy it.

Yes you have to buy the whole bundle.Just like the Silent Hill bundle.
It just makes 0 sense to not sell it for like 3€ seperately.
I love DBD and the music from the stranger things and silent hill chapter so this makes me extra sad not being able to get those themes without having to pay an absurd amount of money for it :(

Its not greed. Lots of companies give bonuses to attract new clients. If it was greed they would have the theme for purchases..because -of course-no one is gonna buy the game again for a theme...maybe some rare dude....

Yes that is true but what's stopping them from giving it out the option to purchase the theme for those who already own the game? I'd love a DbD theme but I am not paying 30 bucks for a theme. By not giving us the option to purchase the theme separate from the game, fans who were already here will have to shell out money just to have it (hopefully people don't actually do that for a theme that would be insane lol). Maybe that's not greedy but that's definitely unfair for fans who have been here for a while. :(

I don't really understand what you mean.
Themes were,among other things,a highly requested feature.
Now we have two different themes we could get (Silent Hill and Stranger Things),but the problem is that the only way to get them right now is to buy the specific bundles that are at least 30€+ per bundle.
Considering that a lot of players already have the base game and the chapters included in the bundles,we would have to oay an absurd amount of money just for those themes.
Not giving those players the option to only get those themes seperately IS greedy and really disappointing aswell to be honest.
Edit:I suppose the word unfair would be more fitting.

Earlier you said they were losing oit on quite a bit of money. And that is true. So no greed isnt why they did it.

Attracting new customers but upsetting old and loyal ones is a very bad idea. You don't want to lose your dedicated playerbase that has stuck with you through some really bad times.

That's definetely true but the word 'greed' really didn't fit considering how much more money they would get if they would sell those themes seperately

Konami and Netflix may have wanted an exclusive item in their bundles. It would be worse if they had exclusive skins or characters.
But, I do wish we had the option to get the themes. Maybe they'll be a timed exclusive but they can't talk about it yet? Hopefully..
