Just a discordance nerf.
Lazy devs

Everything stayed almost the same I guess, they added the Discordance nerf and they reduced PH's movement speed when canceling his ranged attack I think.

they put more salt in the wound for killers

And the blood VFX 😭

What wound?

Mainly PH movement speed nerf/changes
- After cancelling Rites of Judgement:
- PTB - Movement speed is 4.4 m/s for 1 second
- Live - Movement speed is 3.68 m/s for 1 second
Other then that, nothing much except maybe discordance nerf.

They nerf discordance, the only alright legion perk, now there is a maximum distance, for the cost of the killer having no idea how long a survivor has touched the gen (at least you can upgrade it to tier 3 and get positive effects than negative).
They also added a slowdown on top of the attack restriction for PH (it's fine for doctor to move at full speed, but not PH?)
Everything else is the same, they turned all Macmillian estate maps from slightly killer sided to heavily survivor sided. All survivor perks they touched on this update has been buffed, and nerfed PGTW without nerfing DS (they are used just as much and are similar perks to each other, about wasting the other side's time) The only perks they buffed for killer is so little it's barely noticeable.
Just another blatantly survivor sided update like the ruin change months ago.

Can you please tell me that you are trolling?

it depends on what you mean. do you consider me trolling because it's too crazy to be real, or consider me trolling for overreacting according to you? I want to give you a proper answer.

You are overreacting.
The "Discordance-Nerf" was something which was asked a long time, now Tier 3 is as good as Tier 1. Also, to give a difference between the Perk Tiers, they added a Range for each Tier. While it would be nice to have the Range increased (someone mentioned 64/96/128), Discordance on Tier 3 with 96 meters is really enough and nobody will see any difference.
PHs Slowdown is fine, the Power should be used to get hits with the Power, not to have free Zoning by faking the Power. They also buffed the Cooldown after using the Power.
MacMillan-Maps are not heavily Survivor-sided. While I dont agree with the Breakable Walls (Main Buildings were fine), BHVR either thought that the Main Buildings are too weak and added a Wall to each of them (which, to be fair, would be a 1-time break) or they just wanted it as a feature on every Map. Let alone that once you broke the Wall on Storehouse, there is nothing in the Storehouse itself, since they removed both Pallets AND one of the most killer-sided Maps (Shelter Woods) did not get any of its issues fixed.
I dont think that any of the Survivor Perks will get more use after the Buffs, and I also think that Killers have more variety of Perks. And the PGTW-Buff will not change anything.
Overall, I am pretty sure that you dont know what you complained about in 1 week.

They somewhat hurt PH's ability to zone in exchange for a less punishing cooldown on POTD. The devs have stated it wasn't intended to be a nerf. I haven't played the updated version yet so I can't comment, but it's clear that the brief cooldown when coming out of Torment mode was necessary in order to prevent him from zoning. Doctor cannot zone so that's not really a good comparison.
They slightly nerfed Discordance; 96m is a massive distance, and will cover the entirety of pretty much every map unless you're in a corner. They also addressed killer complaints of Tier 3 being weaker than Tier 1, and of the loud notification spam being annoying. I don't think it's fair to ignore the QoL changes and only focus on the tiny nerf and try to say it's just hurting killer.
They buffed a number of perks for both sides in this update, but people are choosing to ignore this and complain about anti-killer bias, probably because the buffs weren't enough to make those perks meta. Let's keep in mind that none of the buffed survivor perks are going to be meta either. They're just buffing trash tier perks so that they're now usable, if only in niche builds. I think that's great.
I haven't played the new MacMillan maps yet, but you can't confidently say they're heavily survivor sided until killers and survivors both learn the maps.
It's interesting you're complaining about the Ruin update being so survivor sided when that was the same patch where they reworked and buffed Doctor. Ruin is also still strong enough to be meta, and it's much more balanced now because it rewards the killer for doing something instead of doing nothing. I think they did a great job with it.

i didn't say it was big, I'm just saying it's still a nerf. Yes, they made it tier 1, which was better (this sounds strange to newer players, but trust us) The fact it continues to be yellow al long as they work on it until one lets go of it for 8 seconds, while is nearly the same as before, mostly just confuses the killer than it actually being worse. just ever so slightly lower the "off-gen" timer, and this perk will be less confusion (killers usually multi-task in a shorter time than survivor, that's what I mean by confusing)
What I mean by the maps is that survivors will have a blast hiding around (blendette's paradise). I'm not saying it's OP, but after all of these maps get reworked, killers will generally "see" survivors less often due to prominent flora and much more random debris.
Now, this is more personal, and I admittedly need more time to truly test this out, so don't take it too seriously, but I don't this the buff to PH's attack recovery isn't strong enough to coincide with the post-trail attack restrictions. In my opinion, they should have the current attack recovery apply when you hit a single survivor, and the old cooldown with multiple survivors, and make missing the attack around the same time as a normal m1 missed cooldown. Like Otz said, this killer will most likely turned into a killer that awkwardly stares at survivors, nonstop m2-ing them constantly, which I imagine is just as unfun than getting hit immediately after canceling, which defeats the entire purpose of the change, for PH to be slightly less annoying and unfair for survivors.
I'm not trying to antagonize survivors, I agree that survivors have equal amount of bullsh*t as killers do. Isn't the point of forums to see someone from a different point of view and see their thoughts to try to understand the bigger picture?
(also, the 1 week still applies to you too. you can't say that as a counter when everyone only had a week as of now.)

I'm saying that they didn't describe how the ruin changes affects killers and survivors, they only say how this change benefits survivors, completely forgetting that killers exist for a moment. Most of what you said I've addressed in another reply.

Well, the main reason for changing Ruin was because it was singlehandedly stomping baby survivors with little effort needed on the killer's part. Killers didn't have complaints with it, of course, because it was the best killer perk in the game at the time. I don't even remember what they said about the changes, but if they just commented on how it would affect survivors that's probably because survivors were the ones complaining about it. That's also a very flimsy piece of evidence to seize upon in the greater context of changes to this game. Somebody probably just didn't communicate the changes well. Oh no.
0 -
Your right, the devs know everything that need changed and always knows what they are doing.
0 -
Of course they don't. I'm just saying they're not biased against one side or the other. They have every incentive to make the game fun and balanced for both sides.
0 -
And that's true! I'm not saying survivors should suck and killers be OP, not in the slightest. I want the game to be balanced between everyone Sometimes the devs either have good priorities, or bad priorities, even in the same update. I think that, at the time, was a bad time to change ruin. Granted, it led the the new ruin and undying meta today, but at the time, it felt like a betrayal.
Despite that, I do think one of the biggest problems that both sides face is the fact that matches go by too fast. It puts unnecessary stress on killers, and leads to very boring and uninteresting matches as survivor. They need to insert some sort of slowdown in any kind (most likely best at/near the beginning of the match) to not make matches go by in 5 minutes. (they need to do more than just lower the great skill check bonuses, they do everything they can that doesn't involve introducing a new mechanic that is very necessary, especially for major problems. The devs can be lazy sometimes)

I'm not convinced the balance is as bad right now as some on this forum would say, but I would be curious to see some sort of "early game collapse" like I believe the devs said they're considering. I bet they add something like that at some point.

people theorize that the killer event addon is a pseudo-test for some type of pressuring tool, but it's just speculation.

The loud noise notification spam was the reason why you ran the perk dingus.
0 -
Nothing, useless ptb, 3weeks of useless feedbacks and then copy and paste

I was all in support of most of this till your last paragraph.
Why oh why does this false insistence of Ruin being nErFeD persist?! Current Ruin is a nightmare to go against as a solo survivor (in comparison to old Ruin). I’d much rather be losing a small amount of progress on good skill checks, than be chased off a nearly completed gen and lose ALL progress because no body else jumped on that gen after me.
0 -
Not at all. You still get the initial loud notification, which is enough to confirm that multiple people are on the gen. You still have new information every eight seconds. You just don't get spammed every eight seconds now.
0 -
don't blame me. the devs call it a nerf.
0 -
There are a couple of threads saying Mindbreaker had its 50% gen progress limit removed but it isn’t in the patch notes. (So anybody who touches a gen no matter its progress is exhausted as long as they touch it plus an additional 5 seconds.) This actually kind of a significant buff to the perk because it means if you are chasing someone, and they try to instant tap a gen to stop it from regressing, they will immediately be exhausted for the next 5 seconds even if the gen is 99% completed.
How good or bad that is depends on how much you value exhausting survivors I suppose. 🤷♂️

It's weird how so little changed besides the Discordance change despite them having three weeks to release it but idk maybe I'm just sounding like a conspiracy nut

Source?

Discordance is 32/64/96 but yeah 96 is good enough in my case now I have to level up discordance for every killer.

Idk if it was just one map variation specific, but on Badham, they severely nerfed the picket fence vault. It now has a random stupid opening in it LOL
