Please for the love of god remove the DC penalty on consoles
This new update and "event" has completely bricked console players. It wasn't so bad a first just a couple of annoying bugs and game breaking glitches (survivors cant break lit totems sometimes) but now its even worse. Ps4 players cant even play due to the frame rates and as an Xbox player I've experienced frequent crashes (2/10 games crash when the trial starts) Frame rate isn't so bad as surv but its ungodly as killer. This new rift dropped and its basically unplayable. Please remove the DC penalty at until you fix the crashes.

Just stop playing the game until they fix it. If it’s as bad as you say it is, it’s not worth the attempt to play it. Plenty of other games to play until these devs get their act together.

for the love of god KEEP the penalty's its so nice as a console player having less dc's

I hate dc's as much as the next guy but you cant deny the constant crashes. I just want them to remove it until crashes and frame rates

How about they just fix the game and leave the penalties?
I assume u play on Xbox? Cuz Xbox one X sucks for dbd.

In the last month. I have seen 1 PC player disconnect. Over 100 console players disconnect.
please leave penatly on is something I strongly believe, but if an update makes the game unstable (and the devs should easily be able to see a report of DC spike) - Then it needs to be turned off if it is a system issue. as much as I hate palyers DC (and I really do, as people wasting my time is something I'll never enjoy) We can't punish people if the company can't put out a stable patch.

Don't take this the wrong way but thank God you're having crashes on Xbox too. I posted in the technical forum and they said it sounded like an overheating or not enough power getting to the console issue.

PS4; can confirm totem invulnerability and the horrible, horrible lag with the event. The connection shows green yet in-game it's a slideshow. Turn the camera a tad? Now you're looking completely behind you and become totally disoriented. Try to adjust and you're getting dizzy, looking in random directions. The on-hit lag spike present since release (any console player understands this) is so horrible taking a single hit is a death sentence.
Also, while my connection has always been pretty stable, the past few weeks it's been completely spotty. I'll DC all the time for reasons I can't understand. The game will tell me the LAN cable has come out (it hasn't) yet the console desktop shows me connected with recommendations, friends list, everything. It's not just this game, but I get kicked out of matches every now and then.
