Did I get my math wrong?

This was a month or two ago so I might just be tripping, everyone on here is say you get your cells back doing the rift. I thought you get a little more than a thousand, I’m sure the exact number but I counted the cells back in August and it came to about 1,350 cells. Do they mean that you get back exactly that much (1000) and I can’t do math or something else?

Each Rift costs 1000 cells to buy the premium track. If you complete the Rift you get 1000 cells total back.
