Big question, do you stalk or not?

Pgtw, Sloppy Butcher, Stbfl, and Nurses are really good. Use double recovery add ons and you should be good. For the most part you want to keep survivors injured and catch them off guard healing while shroud is active. You can also stalk if the opportunity arises, so if you choose to do that monitor closely how much someone is stalked. It always satisfying to instantly down someone who was trying to body block you.

Well for stalking I do really like his leaning ultra rare + chewed pen. Some people consider it bad but I don't know how. It cuts the stalk from like 2.5 seconds to 1.5 seconds or something similar and that's massive when you are trying for a close range stalk at a generator. Otherwise double recovery is the best. I do like combat straps for stalking builds as well but double recovery is better if you have it.

For stalking builds I usually just run tracking perks. Discordance is great since its almost like being given objectives by the game to go disrupt, just make sure not to look at the gen as you approach since spine chill is very meta. I have really been liking the new mindbreaker as well, nothing is more annoying than spending alot of time getting the perfect angle for a stalk just to have the survivor sprint burst off a generator. Whispers is super solid if you have good map knowledge and can use it to triangulate the positions of the first survivors. I don't like pop on him too much because you will be revealed while going to kick a generator in many cases, ruin or sloppy is probably better for regression if you want it.

For stalkless ghostface I run chase perks. You will get dumpstered by good survivors without them attempting to just M1. The first hit is usually easy but finishing the job can be very rough if they are strong loopers. Enduring, brutal strength, bamboozle, spirit fury, etc.

Anti-heal ghostface is dead in my opinion. The new healing perks are just too strong to attempt heavy target swapping without a mobile character such as the wraith. That playstyle is now restricted to windstorm wraith to me.

My basic-######### GF build is Corrupt, Whispers, Pop, BBQ. There´s tons of stuff you can use on him though. Surge, Nurses, Sloppy, Devour, Dragons Grip, Surveillance, all great on him imo. I´m sure there are more but I haven´t played him much recently.

Here's a fun build you should try.

    Double recovery addons of course:

    • Whispers
    • Thrilling Tremors
    • Surge
    • Forced Penance

Do not underestimate Forced Penance in this build. It's surprisingly good on stealth killers like Ghostface. Surge lets you maintain momentum without having to stop and kick gens, Ghostface can't defend ruin easily and you don't have the free slots for undying in this build.

Thrilling Tremors means broken Survivors can't safely do gens to wait out forced penance, and then Whispers helps you keep momentum going and saves a lot of time searching.

I cannot give an actual build. I can just list some good perks and it would be up to you to decide what would be best to run.

Whispers is great for finding people. Patrol gens and when it turns on pop stealth to try to get a sneak att.

    BBQ/Discordance for finding people

NC+Sloppy for hurting people and finding them while healing.

Ruin+Undying, corrupt intervention, or pop for gen slow downs.

STBFL is always good on M1 killers.

    Franklins for keys

    Double recovery addons of course.

    •Surveillance

    •Pop

    •Nurses Calling

    •Thanatophoba

Surveillance and Pop give great gen control. Thanatophobia forces people to heal which activates Nurses Calling, either way I'm getting something big if they decide to heal.

And, always remember to stalk. Instadowns are crucial fro the early game here.
