This is laughable now. Really.
The sound is messed up AGAIN!!!! Every patch the devs mess up the sound. The killer sound is loud no matter where he is on the map. How is it the devs can’t release a patch without breaking something they’ve fixed repeatably. Crazy.

it happens a lot in online games, they release a patch to fix one thing and it ends up breaking something else.
I'm still mad that they've fried cross play with friends on PC.

An update in DbD wouldn't be an update if it wouldn't break the sound everytime

Ugh. Between the N64 fog on the switch version and the sound bugs this game is getting bad. I used to tell my friend that at least is not as bad as Friday the 13th. Well now we are getting to those levels. Kinda.

BHVR has no Quality Assurance Team because if they did no one can be this incompetent and keep their job patch after patch. On PS4 the game is unplayable.

I already am. Even though i work with some department heads that are complete ######### ups at some point i've seen them lose their job. It takes some time a lot longer than you would expect but they still get replaced.

So true. At some point you would expect them to make a deeper analysis about the audio issues to eliminate or improve the system not to break that often. It's either impossible or they aren't willing to put more ressources in it.

I came back after a few weeks of a break because on top of players sweating it out every match, the bugs were just out of control. I came back for the halloween event expecting a fun event, but no. No real event, beyond challenges that act like the event. Sound doesn't play upon entering a match. Killers TR is sometimes missing. Killers can be heard from the oppisite side of the map. Breakable doors just poof from existence when broken. Killers load into the match in weird positions. And to top it off, PS4 is bordering the unplayable mark with the frame rate stutter. I honestly wish I could request a refund from Sony for this trainwreck at this point, but since it's been over a year that won't happen, but I will be abandoning this game for good soon because this is just unacceptable for a 4 year old game.

Facing spaghetti code that the devs don't even know how to fix for years must be a real challenge. I hope that they could fix something 🙏
