Struggle state
So my friends on Xbox will be pressing A and it will kill them anyways. I dont know about pc if this is an issue. But it never was for me until I play my cousins ps4 and im struggling and then when im halfway through struggle it just lets go when I press the button at the same speed. Fix this or just remove struggle

This has been an issue period.
Most everyone wants them to remove the struggle state input spam because its annoying as hell but if im correct the devs won't remove it because they "want the players to feel inclusive", considering everything I would guess that means "we want survs to have the ability to basically dc early without penalty, at the same time annoying anyone who doesn't want to spam an input."

I sometimes have this issue on pc I'm hitting space and it will just stop. I think it is a latency thing.

since dedicated servers have been out, if you stop for more than half a second you will die.

Nah, BHVR want you to induce RSI and even then your efforts are wasted because the game will sometimes freeze when you're on the hook and kill you anyway. Gotta love unoptimised video games.

Need to just implement the skill checks like the PH cages.
There simple easy and it works.
Simple skill checks with large margins to easily hit that get smaller as time goes on and you dont mess up your controller.
Plus if you miss one no biggie you dont die it just speeds up your struggle timer.
