On the forums more than the game
Who else just quit playing dbd and just gets on the forums instead? Play the game isn't fun anymore and discussing it is more interesting.

Yeah i recently quit and will now be less active on the forums. It's sad. Not even fortnite made me wanna leave this bad.

The "event" was the last straw for me. I uninstalled yesterday and I'm certainly not planning on coming back soon.
I still have hope for DBD, hence why I still keep up with what's happening, but until the devs come with much needed balancing and changes (looking at OoO which is in a fine spot according to the devs), I won't bother investing time and money into what this game has become.

whats so bad about this event? non premium blight skins purchasable with iridescent shards is pretty cool.
You mean no double bp or interesting in game alternate gameplay options such as collecting halos and escaping?

Its fine that you can get them for Iri shards, but grinding for those is pretty daunting. The biggest thing is that this event feels irrelevant like nothing really changed transitioning into the event.

I'm on the forums more than the game because I have one of those damn 8hr-12hr jobs 😭😭😭

I said i wouldn't be here as often, i still stopped playing the game

Yeah, me too. I stopped playing DBD at day 30/09 and I haven't played any single match, just logged in to get cosmetic rewards. I have 2k200 hours on it and I see no reasons or motivation to bring me back, untin then.

I just reinstalled fortinte! They have an actual event where people who die come back as ghosts and can possess vehicles to kill people with!

You see fortnite being told as a kiddy game that no one plays, but it still looks pretty fun ngl.

I personally stopped after season x, where i just got bored with the game but this is off topic

I had fun when they had "The floor is Lava" mode and quit during the Avenger/Thanos theme. I literally just downloaded it because I was interested what they were doing for Halloween since DbD isn't doing anything.
I actually have more fun playing Dbd and am not very good at shooters, but the development between the two games are like night and day between the companies. Behavior had nothing on Epic.

Same,i'm spending way more time on the forum than in the game right now lol

@GoodLookinCookin im sorry op for what this thread became lol
2 -
I consider it more of a casual game than it is a kiddie game. And yes, it is still fun, just in smaller doses than I used to take it.

i only play from time to time, but since i don't have the archive pressure anymore (cau'z i don't care lol) i just play less and less, hell i even begin to replay wow lol. so right now i wait cyberpunk or for all devil may cry game to be on sale to cut tie with the game completly

They call me ¨mister mean man¨ for a reason.
@GoodLookinCookin Im sorry your discussion got derailed, but if it makes you feel better this guy overreacting to memes is amazingly funny to me.

Guessing that’s PC
If you reinstall, will all of the progression and purchases you had at the time of uninstalling be reinstated, or is that all lost?
...and is the result of deleting/ restoring DBD app on console the same with all being lost or completely restored?

Thanks for the compliment honey 😘
Leaving the game in droves? You make it sound as if I normally do this to people lmao.

you loose nothing, you just don't have the game in your pc or console, when you reinstall you get all your progress back since it's on behavior server
1 -
Yup. I play on steam, so all my progress and purchases are saved on my account. Nothing is lost. As in for console I can't give a definitive answer, but I can't imagine it being different than pc.. Unless there's a bug.

Yeah, I’m on PS4 and narrowly avoided frustratedly deleting DBD twice now.
Wasn’t sure what would happen, still hanging in there

Oh, yeah that makes sense

Yep, console was killed in the recent update.

I'd say the main reason is that the event is no different to normal games. It's just basically a new tome with some new skins.
Also removing the event currency so we are forced to buy skins is kinda harsh. The devs always say they want to help the casual players yet when it comes to money they don't. Less challenges in the archive means casual players aren't going to complete it and no event currency means they are going to be forced to buy them with auric cells.
I think people are just disappointed when their biggest event of the year, is basically not an event.

I've always been more casual, and I feel like I'm on these forums for like an hour every night. As opposed to being in game for like, 4 hours a week. (and I'm still stuck in red/purple. Aaaaah)
I'm really impressed when I see people finishing rifts and playing all day. It's a fun game...but to play THAT much is some dedication.

Odd how that works huh?
I suppose making your entire player base upset universally does that tho huh?

Please can we keep this on topic now...
2 -
To actually be on topic now, I do find it wayyy more fun sometimes do be on the forums than actually playing dbd. Especially if Im talking about SCP or some other licence I like a lot.

Thank you.

Dunno why anyone would want to be on the forums and not play the game.
Literally have better things to do if I move on from a game.

It's not that abnormal, I do the same with Team Fortress 2, not playing but keeping up with the community. And sometimes DbD, but the breaks from the game are much shorter.

A game can only keep you entertained for so long, no matter how good it is.
Watching random people argue on the internet? Priceless, endless amounts of entertainment. Popcorn finger licking good
3 -
Honestly yeah.
Nothing has perked my interest since...
Well, really since Spirit. But mostly since Deathslinger.

Currently, I love this forum way more than the game. 🎠👻

I haven't touched the game for almost a month. Nevertheless I look in here from time to time. I enjoy discussions and so on. I couldn't even really explain to myself why I stopped playing. Maybe because this game gets uglier from patch to patch. Every reworked map looks like the map I hate the most: Yamaoka.

Pretty sure it's because of the grass

1000% agree on that

Full respect for trump memes. Also i havent okayed in minths cus it doesnt feel fun

So I've been lurking this site for probably a year or so, it's like WWE for me. I have faces and heels that I like here.
Seeing people clap back at Trusted members in the past was like seeing Stone Cold stunner the entire Macman Family 🤣
Rebellious members are always entertaining
