Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Blight and Nurse

Some people say blight is similar to nurse in some ways (dont really understand why)

What makes people link the two together? skill cap, power strength?

Just curious

Blight has quite a high Skillcap. Also, he is a Nightmare on Controller, similar too Nurse. Regarding Power, he cannot compete with the Killer who ignores everything.

Blight and Nurse are similar skillcap wise

If you have no clue how to play them, prepare to get stomped, if you are amazing at them, the survivors will get destroyed as both killers can re-enter chases extremely fast

    Skill cap.

Blight requires knowledge of hitboxes and map layouts, as well as being able to predict survivor movements.

Nurse requires you to learn her power just to be able to move with her. After that, you need to, again, predict survivor movements.

Both also have great catch up potential. If Blight hits you and you don't get to a tile and/or you're in the open, then you're pretty much dead. With Nurse, she can hit you, go through fatigue, and then blink next to you and down you again in seconds.

Nurse is still objectively the better killer (I mean, ffs, she literally ignores all survivor defenses), but Blight is still pretty damn strong once mastered. Slap Alchemist Ring on him, and if the Blight is good at landing hits, then you are absolutely screwed if you don't reach a tile in time. And if you do? Guess what? He's a 115% killer in a loop and that also does not care if you drop the pallet on him because he can break it and catch up to you.

Blight is playable on console. You don't NEED his power in a chase to do well.

I genuinely think that blight has a higher skill ceiling than nurse (and a similar skill floor) since with nurse once you learn how to land your blinks you need to learn to read survivors. On blight, you can't simply land your rushes, you need to read the survivor FIRST, and then read the surroundings to land the rush efficiently on them. This, unless your an m1 blight. There's normal m1 skill in that like, like with m1lly ecc

On ps4 hes is similar due to the fact that fps is horrific which makes it hard to hit people with a rush attack and it's harder to play him with an controller

Skill cap, strength, and overall chase... Not potential, but layout? Them and Spirit have a similar chase style - 2 hit downs, but on their terms instead of the survivors.

Blight requires the same pinpoint precision Nurse does, except you have to worry about obstacles and are more limited because of it. They designed him without any concern for console controls whatsoever. He's truly awful and is actually the first killer I wish I could get my shards back for.
