Gosh so many complaints thread is crazy what does devs will do. I think is okay to call this a crisis.

It's mainly because people are just fed up of the BHVR cycle seemingly never stopping: patch comes out, fixes 3 things, breaks 30 things in the process, make seasonal event worse than the previous year. If this patch didn't come with so. Many. Bugs. (Maybe the worst it's been in years) I don't think there would be as much uproar about the lackluster event. But BECAUSE it is so bad right now, there's really nothing to be happy about with this update.

They... Well, they kind of did some not so great things. No-event-event, unearnable skins, timed add-on, completely out-of-touch replies to community questions, straight-up stat worship, slightly nerfing Discordance...
And that's without the bugs.
There's some positivity in there too. It's just buried a little deep.

The fps on PS4 is the worst it has ever been. The thing they put out and called an "event" is a joke. DBD should own Halloween but other games have done Halloween much better.They also are doing exclusives again after stating the reason they gave cosmetics and event items to users who never played the events or attended the events. @ALostPuppy nailed it with patch after patch being a mess. More players are seeing that they are incompetent and liars.
The problem for BHVR is this is the criticism they can see. A small percentage of players use this forum and others and follow them on social media. It is the players that don't and have had enough and potentially walk away or play something else that is lost revenue they will never recoup.

Why wouldn't people be upset when BHVR literally downgrade their events every time they have one and that they keep screwing up the game with bug-ridden updates? Not to mention the increasingly rampant macrotransaction focus.
