Login Rewards & Discounted Halloween Cosmetics!
There's now login rewards and the new Halloween Cosmetics have been reduced to 9k shards (except Ghostface due to being licensed obviously).
24th - 30th | 500 Shards & 20,000 Bloodpoints Per Day
30th - 1st | 2,750 Shards & 100,000 Bloodpoints Per Day
1st - 4th | 500 Shards & 50,000 Bloodpoints Per Day
BHVR have pretty much "saved" the event, as even if you login at least once per day from tomorrow til the 4th you'll be able to end up grabbing yourself a full Hallowed Curse set for free without even needing to play. It's a shame the in-game event isn't too great but at least you should be able to get a free set without even needing to play. Honestly happy with this response.
Also, Felix's set wasn't available to purchase with shards for me before, however in the store I see his head (which I didn't pick up) you can now purchase with shards, can anyone confirm his full set is available for 9k now?

We can't still buy old halloween event skins for shards. I really wanted that blighted huntress skin.

Its good. I was hoping the charms would be available. Im glad I can get a skin, though.

hmm... while im thankful that they did SOMETHING. This is only enough shards for 1 cosmetic set. They are slowly pushing the line, so next time they dont have to do anything. Its like when EA slowly makes loot boxes worse and worse every game. Dont give them an inch. Demand the full 2 skins.

i'm really grateful they're doing this, hopefully now people can try their best to enjoy the event for what it is rather than being upset it's a flagrant cashgrab with no redeeming qualities. thank you devs!

It's a start but I wouldn't say they saved the event with this. I can log in, grab the shards/BP, and then go play a game that has an actual Halloween event.

I really wanted to earn the nurse skin. I do appreciate them doing something about not being able to earn any skins though

So.. I'm a little confused on Oct 30th do you get 20k | 500 + 100k | 2750? Because that's the way it's kinda phrased but seems strange.

This just feels like a bandaid to try and appease folk unhappy with this year's event. It's just 'log in every day and get enough shards for a costume' now. Although the first halloween event they did with the flowers and that wasn't perfect, I really miss having that feeling that some thought and effort went into providing players with a cool experience, rather than "we're a games as service thing now, here's a battlepass and some FOMO sh*t".

It took a lot of complaining, but this is amazing!
The Bloodweb grind issue with too many characters is not fixed by this, but this should settle the mood for the holiday's. Thank's devs!

Here's the thing for me though, it then means you're still required to play to earn the other set, making it fair in my opinion. Plus if you already have shards saved you won't have to play as much compared to if you have zero shards at all. One for free just by logging in everyday, and then one for actually playing and earning shards seems fair to me

For those of us who purchased the now discounted costumes prior to this change, how will we be refunded the difference in our shards, so we can get an additional costume now that the price is reduced? Overall, like this change to better align with the past events we've all loved - thank you bE.

So if we are being generous with the numbers it should be 640k BP's 13,750 IS every day logged in. Which is kinda meh, and a weird number to come up to total wise. It certainly beats nothing though. Now with the skin sale going on with 75% off the older Halloween skins if they made them purchasable with IS and marked those down to 75% as well (making them around 5,250 IS each) then I think people would have a lot loss to complain about.

Still only one skin, you'd have to grind more than 5000 shards for the second skin.

how long to get 4-5k shards? actual question. Ifs its a reasonable amount of time, then this will be fine for me. I will cease being mad if the amount of time it takes to farm 4-5k shards is reasonable.

I doubt they'll refund people that bought it before it was discounted. If they do people will start demanding refunds when DLC/cosmetics they bought at release goes on sale at later date.

That’s nice and honestly more than I expected. I don’t think BHVR has ever done a shard discount.
Although I think we should still get two skins, not just one.

According to the wiki you get about 4.32 shards per minute.
Meaning you would need about 19.3 hours of ingame time to get the remaining 5000 shards (That's about 100 decently long games!)

Event ends on the 4th right? so thats 12 days (including today)
thats 1.667 hrs per day.... Actually thats not that bad And seeing as there is a 2x bps event next weekend next week. Still think they should gave an extra 1-2k shards to help the people who have very little time for the exent, but not the worst

Why demand 2 full skins? Why can't we be happy with one of our choice?
There are more on the rift which you can use your shards to unlock if you'd rather have more than 1.
I personally am glad of the choice cause I got to get Felix for so cheap. (Not that he's cheap. Oh no.) 🍭

EA: Ok, we have gone too far, and we have made some changes (but the lootboxes are still worse than in previous years)
dont be happy with their "apology" they are just doing 1 step forward, and two steps back, if you let this slide, next time we will get even less.
Players that just blindly accept a company's "apology" is what lead to EA doing what they do today. dont let BHVR go down the same road.
