Dead Hard description says: "During the dash, you avoid damage".
But Doctor's Shock Therapy does not hurt Survivors. It applies negative Status Effect and prevents them from vaulting, but by all means it is not a damage since it does not put from Injured State to Dying like Bear Traps and Punishment of the Damned. It is illogical.

No worries they'll buff DH soon and probably update the perk description too.

During the dash, you avoid damage (ONLY WHEN YOU SEEM DASHING TO KILLER TOO)

It actually doesn't let you dodge over Pyramid Head's Torment Trials which I found kinda interesting.

Fixing it from a technical standpoint isn't buffing the perk in any means

Yeahh I'm glad they're fixing it, i just unlocked it the other day and got a bunch of the exhausted on ground. i didnt know it was a thing til i watched something on youtube talking about the dead hard change, talking about trying to fix exactly that ^^

We'll see about that. If they simply bump up the invincibility time it's a buff, but if they actually fix the perk so it works as intended for both sides it's a fix.

Really it’s meant to say besides against objects in the map you have no hit box collision. Just bad description is all.

Its just a bad description. BHVR wanted a third-person game dodge roll with i-frames, in every game with a dodge roll mechanic like this, you have frames where you are invincible to absolutely everything if you time it right. This was clearly their design.
When they wrote the perk description, they wanted players to look at it and understand right off the bat what the perk would mainly be used for. It would be a lot harder for them to explain "your hitbox is disabled for a second" to their mostly casual playerbase.
