They find any reason to complain and misconstrue your words. I say devs deserve SOME credit over things that they did positive and then im personally attacked with being called a white knight and even though I bring up the good and bad, people ignore every thing and bring up the bad. I say it's unfair that low rank killers get red rank survivors and instantly people come in defending it and saying well ranks dont matter. Some people Smurf. Oh you can get red rank quick and suck. Yet on this forum WHY IS EVERYONE TURNING WORDS AGAINST EVERY ONE?! Its so annoying that I cant post something without back lash even when its something supposedly positive

I think people misunderstand what "white knight" and "simp" mean.
Being a white knight is defending someone who doesn't need defending.
The fact that people are using the word simo is just annoying, what it really means is sacrificing your well being for a girl without even dating.

No one NEEDS defending in a verbal bully situation or physical for the most part. So I think white knight is a dumb term. But seriously look at my post about ranks please. You ACTUALLY listen and I want you to see the responses I got. It just solidified my point here

This is a forum no one comes here to worry about typing in perfect English we all just come here to throw our opinions at each other and complain about the game 99% of the time. Complete sentences with paragraph structure and grammar is too much to expect just be happy if you see someone using punctuation.

True, unlike other people I don't need to read perfect grammar and structured paragraphs, but I do expect some knowledge of reading comprehension on others part

Yeah youre right. I mixed both of those ways in my responses and I shouldnt have. Thanks for pointing that out, I did seem pretty belligerent and I should probably just ignore my anger from now on because I realize that my opinion wont change anything and if I do state it I should just do it calmly. Wpuld you give me advice on how I could reword my ideas so as NOT to get back lash?

Ok yes youre right. My use of big words and talking of people needing better comprehension probably did set me up for failure and yes you are right about the forums and therefore it was a losing battle. And I was thinking, wouldn't I be insulted if im too soft.

An example of me defending the devs on a topic but didn't receive backlash, i would most likely have to go back a hundred or so posts due to the shithole the devs put themselves in but usually i counter dev bashing, which a majority of the community doesn't like and in every critique post i make i say no dev bashing.

Right now? Most likely nigh impossible. This is mob mentality right now, they are still very angry and will likely need to cool off. Hence why i don't get myself into situations like that and just say "hey this has already been discussed please try to find another bug to bring the devs attention"

At this moment and time? Most likely. I did have an older post of my grievances with the game before this ######### show and talked about how i was upset(hence all the cussing) and did specify one fact about the community
Yall act like 2 children who the parents are trying to please you both at the same time and failing.
Sometimes the backlash they received is warranted. But trying to make a bull remember a time where it wasn't angry always leads you to getting hit with the horns

Everyone is biased, literally everyone, what matters is how biased someone is.

Yeah i know that. For example i know im biased towards michael in any nerf/buff situation he is in, but i try to stay in the middle and be objective

hmm. true but thats my opinion because I tend to ignore my bias. I hate tunneling and camping and I prefer surv over killer so im biased towarda survivor. But unlike others I am not held down by my biases, since I can look at things subjectively. Maybe I should get out of the mindset that doing so is easy. Some people are. Really inclined to listen to their heart.(don't know if that's an accurate way to explain acting in biases)

I think perhaps you need to learn how to adequately express yourself, because apart from your first point, everything you just said is perfectly normal counterargument.
Also not sure why you assume everyone on the forums, for an 18+ game, is a highschool student. Though for the record, English was one of only two classes I excelled at and the only reason I have my worthless little diploma, the other one being Statistics (which is why I am crying on the inside at the number of people taking the Devs overarching stats seriously.)

I make these posts to adress issues and to vent and to connect with others. Whether people care or not doea not matter, if I get ragged on, oh well. As long as I make my opinions heard that's all that matters.

Look buddy I'm not trying to hate on you but this is a video game that alot of us have played for years now and this is the first event you had to pay for to basically get anything out of it and had no option to grind when it first came out, what's even worse is they chose to cash grab while millions of people were furloughed around the world with a pandemic going on , are the devs bad people? Of course not I'm sure they're great people in person but sometimes they make very questionable decisions that are not that well thought out and that's the giant elephant in the room for everyone is how the hell does this stuff keep happening after 4 years? Someone at the top needs to have some of their work more spread out or involve more people so decisions like this event aren't finalized and sent out only to be changed like 3 or 4 times during the event with apologies, MORE needs to be done in the testing area for these changes before they drop, just look at the ######### the ps4 players are dealing with right now it's totally unacceptable for a game averaging over 100 million a year (probably way more now) in profit in 2017 alone before the cosmetic shop was even a thing to not have their ######### together and be on top of this stuff by now

The devs have ensured that so much frustration exists in their game that it seeps into the community and toxifies the waters for everyone. People have nothing personal against you; it's just that this pent up animosity has to be directed somewhere, and anyone defending BHVR rn without being incredibly clear on his/her qualifiers is going to see the brunt of that.

It boils down to the basic "Why can't you be more like me?" want. Someone makes a statement another disagrees with, and they feel offended or annoyed that this person cannot see what they see, whilst ironically refusing to see why the other believes in what they do.
Instead, they demand you change and become insulting. They'll tell them they're "sheeple" for towing the line, yet if you changed your mind to their way of thinking you are a free-thinker, when actually the complete opposite has happened.
Some have forgotten how to be civil and debate with empathy. You won't win those battles, so try not to participate in them. Instead, debate with those with different views who respectfully challenge you, rather than make vague comments.
However, I wouldn't recommend telling people to get schooled. That's asking for flak.
