Having gotten to rank 7 with the base killers before taking a 3-4 month break, coming back has been a complete disaster.
Now being rank 10 killer, the last 48hrs have been nothing but red rank survivors. One swf group activated a cheat that when I picked one survivor up, I could not move and was forced to quit out after sitting in one position holding that survivor for 40 minutes while the rest were dead.
After deranking due to cheaters, terrible ranking matchups with red rank swf at rank 10, awful hit tracking, the keys and brand new parts, I am done. I ea
sily hit red rank on survivor but there are too many things you cant control as killer. Crossplay was a mistake. End rant. Unistalled

There is probably other reasons of uninstalling too, don't blame no shame.

The 'can't move' isn't so much a cheat but a communication issue between the consoles and servers (that isn't to say such cheat might not exist).
best advice is to disable crossplay. it makes for longer qs, sure, but that kinda thing shouldn't happen anymore.

Making the matchmaking pool smaller makes it worse. The game before I posted this was 4 red rank swf with crossplay off

if there are more xbox players with crossplay on means most of the players like and support it, but again, while you have the option to desactivate it, you cant complain about it

How tf do platforms effect ######### matchmaking? If anything with cross play should make it better. This isn't a pc complaint, this is a MATCHMAKING COMPLAINT

I dont understand why youre focusing on the phrase "crossplay was a mistake" when im telling you that matchmaking is garbage with it on or off? Im rank 11 - I shouldn't be getting matches like the photo above at all. Look at my perks. How is that any fun for me at all at rank 11?

I still don't understand how players are being matched with others 10 ranks above them. Crossplay should have largely negated this. Pc, windows, ps4, xb1, switch and stadia.. and crossplay couldn't find one purple or red killer? Not to mention the lag.
Mm'ing should be better than ever.. i don't get it.

People like you are whats wrong with this community. You see an obvious problem (matchmaking), you give a poor solution which would make it worse (turn off crossplay and "you can't complain"), and then you want to argue petty semantics like you're somehow right. You're the guy people warn new players about

No need to announce that you're leaving, just leave. Also crossplay is not a problem, the problem is you.

How is OP the problem and to blame for being rank 10 matches with red ranks?
Turning crossplay off lowers the amount of people it can match you with so turning crossplay off make the situation described even worse.
