Join the club of losers with low-end PC/laptop that no longer play DBD and moved to STADIA!
Did you know that does not even matter how buggy, stuttery, low FPS or risky overheat your low-end PC/laptop is?
Just pay the 20 bucks and you got DBD in regular Google Stadia! Steam is the now the past!
You simply need to have around 10Mb/s connection to play via Stadia (not 4K pro)
btw Console losers complaining can also join the club! :)))))))

maybe some people don't have the cash to move to stadia due to corona or the fact they are underage?
1 -
they cannot afford 20 bucks in buying the game but can afford buying expensive skins that get their price crazy lowered afterwards u mean?
0 -
No. I mean people who also can't afford that due to them being idk...
UNEMPLOYED
2 -
come on 20 bucks isn't a fortune lmao
1 -
Yeah it isn't but that 20 bucks could be used for food or bills, not everyone is that fortunate

check if you can join Stadia with your low-end specs but decent-end speed connection here:
You will need 10Mb/s for regular free Stadia membership, not pro, not 4K quality
or over 35Mb/s to optionally pay the monthly pro subscription ($10/month) to Stadia for 4K gaming +5.1 surround sound, as below:

well then it is way less feasible for these guys to wait way longer to play DBD saving the money for a new high-end PC/laptop
0 -
Yeah - This guy's replies are cringy and completely ignorant in terms of understanding the current economic struggles most people are currently facing.
Been a while (thankfully) since there's been a priviledge flexing topic, though, so I guess we were due.

I'm unemployed btw but have some minimum savings for the 20 bucks, and not everyone is struggling in the COVID situation as you see people spending hundreds in useless DBD skins

I'm with ya. I was playing on ps4 for 3 years. As soon as it came to stadia I gave it a try and immediately decided to just start over and play it on stadia from then on. I could not go back to the jittery mess of a game that it was on ps4 after experience how smooth it was on stadia.
1 -
Yeah because my dad receives his payment at the beginning of each month i know not to ask for too much during the middle of the month(he does real estate and thats when his people pay rent)
1 -
but those people spending hundreds are most likely on pc because pc costs WAY more than ps4.

Maybe TC just needs to level up Claudette a bit more to hit 30.

Last time i tried Stadia, it lagged like hell.
I easily passed the requirements to play on Stadia btw, it's just not reliable.
It works fine for one, it's terrible for the other.

Stadia! I mocked them in the past
..but now I am a believer!

Like other said, if someone is struggling enough that buying new hardware isn't an option, only a small portion of people are at that fine line where adding another sub to their monthly payment wouldn't be crippling to them. Stadia for DBD is the convenience of crossplay and not needing to move your full hardware when you know you'll have access to a decent Internet connection where you go and your laptop with a gigabyte connection would be enough.
If you have the money, you better off getting your own decent hardware and not suffer the increase input lag at the cost of an extra monthly fee.

You don't have to pay a monthly fee to play on stadia though. I'm not getting into the whole thing of if people can afford this or that as I don't know everyones situation. But I did want to clarify that stadia is completely free to use. Just need to purchase a game you want to play.

we have both opinions if Stadia lags or works smoothly, I guess it depends on your connection, ping, zone, devices connected, time...
1 -
Then I guess it make more sense.
2 -
I tried the game on Stadia and I must admit it ran very smoothly for me, I know a few of our console players have switched over to it as well.
But yes, it's like everything in life at the moment, financially it can be an issue for some people and we have to respect that.

This is probably the most economically savvy thing to do. Like I use to think that stadium (or whatever) was for aged millennial hipsters clinging to their youth but that was me from the past.
Now with the world ending and all that it only makes sense for people to do this.
This thread was so thoughtful and considerate of you, if only more people cared for the welfare of the members of this community as you do.
You even remembered to include the console gamers, which are usually the afterthoughts of the community.

Bravo @HittingOnHook ! 🍰

This is the first positive thing I've heard about stadia. It runs like crap for most people even with fiber internet and good pc specs. The fact that they want a subscription and for you to pay for the games is laughable
0 -
Well, the fact that they are underaged also means they shouldn´t be playing the game in the first place, right?
2 -
thanks, the real intention of this thread is comparing buying a new machine (minimum 600 bucks) vs 20 for regular Stadia game
and
enhance the acknowledgment of devs to OPTIMIZE the game for not needing to reach this extreme edge of purchasing twice DBD in Stadia

It's not an opinion, it just doesn't work for some people, doesn't matter how good their gear is.
I'm not in the middle of nowhere, servers that Google uses are more than closeby enough.
Stadia just isn't optimal yet.

there is no sub needed, its free with non-4K game, I self-quote:

Oh I didnt know that thanks for the correction. Well if it works well for you guys all the power to you. Hopefully the stability gets better over time. Would be great one day to not have to buy 2000$ PC's and 600$ consoles every couple years

I mean I can understand not having $20, lord knows I've been there many times. But in that case I assume I'd have much bigger issues than DBD running poorly.
