I hope they change blight to make him more friendly to use, as for Demo i've been asking for a buff in most surveys and discussion. Yeah you can make due, but theres some issues and additions i think should be addressed

Edit: This picture i got from the devstream thread.

I see a fair few Blights but that could just be because of the current tome challenges for him. It is a shame that Demo isn't out and about as much these days. He's one of my favourite killers to play against because I love his chase music. Hopefully they give him a rework and buff him up a little because I still use him fairly often but I get beaten a lot!

are you also getting the bug where all killers T pose? it does that for me now instead of their default stance

It is not T-Pose. it is the pose they take in your game to get the arms into your camera. If you watch old videos, the killers raised their arms and weapons once the camera got into position. Now they already have the position and the arms are already there when the camera moves into the killer. I also saw on Tofus stream, I think, a headless Oni, during camera panning. Which is probably because the Oni mask is too big and would block sight. There was an issue when you had the red glowing eyes in your camera in demon mode. So the killer model for killer player does something different than for survivor players. And they messed something up here.

I wouldn't use this chart to make any real decisions on who needs buffs/nerfs. According to this info, Nurse is on the bottom. Despite her numerous bugs(that have been here for more than a year and yet to be addressed) she is still the strongest killer in the game.

The ironic part of this is jello cars is the duo used:

The jello cars gives the Demo's power a tech with them making Demo have a better shred at car loops.

Meanwhile the jello cars screws over the Blight whose power won't work with them at specific angles making Blight's power worse at traveling past car loops.

I'm using it because i've made other posts in the past about demo, and i don't like the blight. I got it from the recent devstream?

I actually really enjoy demo, but can be frustrated with how limited he can be at times.

Im always against add ons, add ons should really not be a thing the way 90% of them are.

And to make a killer viable because of (then mandatory) add ons is silly.

What buff do you have in mind for how his portals work? because to me they work quite well.

Not denying your point, but because Killers have different Killer Powers, someone is going to be at the bottom.

If changes bring them out of the bottom, 2 others will be picked less to end up there.

His add-ons are mostly portal focused. Good portal placement takes days of map knowledge vs. shred just being another way to chase survivors. His perks weren't as good as other killers so there's that aswell.

Hate to break it to you sorry but this isn’t rlly a bug and I can undsrstsnd why they did it. They’ve basically aligned his collision with that of Billy’s, I’ve tested it out in numerous kyf’s. You just gotta learn what you can and can’t bounce off of, like what you can and can’t blink through as nurse,

I’m talking about why he slides off of certain objects not the rare instances he gets caught on invisible things. If you looked at it that way every killer has bugs like this which need fixing.

I've played a load of blight last week or so. He's alot of fun, but once you reach red ranks unless you have the palette breaking red add on, he becomes too easy to deal with. Just drop a pallete, W and line of sight, by the time he's caught you gens are being done.

I was getting brutal every game, just couldn't get pips.

Blight needs some tweaks and his pick rate will increase a bit. The FOV needs to be raised, obviously, and the collision detection in tighter areas like doorways or 4 lanes needs to be a lot more refined. I shouldn't be visibly snapping to the left or right to slam into something I'm clearly not trying to bump into.

Demogorgon's pick rate is kind of a mystery. Not sure why they aren't played more. I wouldn't mind seeing Rat Liver become baseline. It's amazing how much stronger they are with a single brown add on. It's little tweaks like those that shouldn't take years to come to fruition.

That Pig killl rate means we aren't getting a buff anytime soon...

You can also explain that blight was released recently so his pickrate would be lower compared to others

Can't say for Blight, but Demo is one of my weaker killers. His shred slows him down maybe a bit too much at base and his add-ons need more that affect the shred. Everything past yellow affects his portals.

Additionally he gives out so much free info to the survivors. Land a hit? Roar. Miss a shred? Whine. Teleporting? Roar. Walking with undetectable? Stomp Stompy. Survivors always know whether he's chasing someone or teleporting, so they always know whether that are probably safe or should be more alert.

I don't pick him expecting to do well, so a lot of the time that'll turn me off from picking him to begin with.

While it's true that you just kind of learn what you can and can't bounce off of, there are certain nearly identical models where some will have collision and others won't. Many trees don't have collision, good luck guessing which. The same is true for rocks, playing in Ormond, most of those rocks don't have collision, try to guess which ones do. Playing in Father's chapel, good luck trying to get through the doors that have the wooden boards sticking out of them, apparently they have collision. And let's not forget about all the times that the game doesn't let you use your ability at all because it thinks you're too close to another object. On stairs? Guess what you can't use your ability, in a door way? many times you can't use your ability.

Don't get me wrong, I love Blight and I play him almost exclusively, but he can be verrry frustrating to play.

Two of my most played killers personally, I'd say they're fine as they are. I reckon Blight's pickrate is due to his difficulty to play and Demo because his DLC is the most expensive.

as a long-time certified™ demogorgon main (i played him ever since he came out and never stopped LMAO), it saddens me to see that he's one of the lower picks. when you play him right, he's a genuinely powerful killer with his zoning abilities and is capable of keeping up with high level play if you know what you're doing. his add-ons are also quite useful as well (at least all of them are to me. i'm the type of player that uses any and every perk, so all the add-ons are viable imo), despite many people saying that they offer little-to-nothing to his gameplay. they actually serve really great purposes!

i can never really see him needing a buff or a nerf, honestly. he's perfectly in the middle, not weak nor overly strong, but that's probably just me. x)

i just wish he was a bit higher in the list.. it's rare to see another demogorgon online nowadays, and sometimes i feel like i'm the only one that genuinely enjoys him and plays him all the time, despite that obviously not being true. it's just that empty type of feeling i suppose.

overall, i definitely do wish that there was something to give the incentive for people to play him! he deserves much more credit and attention than what people see him worth.

I think people forget that blight isn't very noob friendly when even the devs say he has a skill ceiling close to if not above nurse

  • SasukeKun
    SasukeKun Member Posts: 1,858

Plague and Nurse have add ons that make up for their power imo..im confused as to why they are at the bottom because i see a lot of nurse. I'm personally good at Plague as well, Demo and Blight have the weaker power and addons in comparison imo. Granted the small handful that can use him he still feels really clonky to me.

In the case of someone new being at the bottom maybe there's room for suggestions on how to deal with each one and why they are at the bottom.

Problem with blight is pallets just end him, and so many obstacles. Alot of the maps don't favour him either.

Yup, he just has too much counterplay. He's hard to use, with little reward if you pull off a great rush.

Really his last rush should put people into a dying state instead of that being an add on.

Fair look I think it could be improved but it’s no where near unplayable or anything like that which ppl try and claim it to be.
