Reasons why i hate the DC penatlies

  1. You get a farming killer and just wanna dc and find another match.
  2. the servers or the killer have a high ping and you just wanna dc because this game will be unfun
  3. you dont like to farm but you also wanna give 2 people the escape because of reasons so you dc
  4. there is a gamebreaking bug like the hill glitch a month ago
  5. someone brings a map offering for their advantage to make the game as boring as possible

DC penalties are good sure but sometimes there is a reason for it. when you dc all the time yeah getting a penalty is deserved. even otz disconnects when he gets some cute survivors to give them both a escape instead of farming. at the end the game is a casual game and very far away being a competetive game.

i really hope dbd will get some AI as replacement for DC's like in the mobile version.

Hey, I just got matched with a hacking tombstone Michael 2 times in a row. I'd say that hackers is the only real reason to DC.

love it how you both picked one reason and try to trashtalk about that one thing. u guys are hilarious. why didnt you say anything about bad ping killers? about bugs? huh?

yes let people have a unfun match because other people are more important? allright... from now on i will just have unfun matches just for other people to have fun. oh lord you guys are something else

I did that the other day (just work on gens and leave) just to be facecamped by the killer after I went to open the gate, because it seems he didn't approve I didn't want to farm... yeah, sure... never had so much FUN in my life

If you think those excuses are good enough for you to dc, then dc and take the penalty hit.

At some point you'll have to decide if those excuses are still worth the time you'll have to wait.

I did mention the ping did you not read? If everyone was allowed to dc at the slightest inconvenience to them no one would find a match

I just got a hours ban because the game decided to give me a blue screen :/ can’t say that I’ve ever been so anoyed .. if I dc intentionally and get a ban it’s fine I accept it it’s my fault for dcing but when your in the middle of playing a game and your ps4 desides to say error in the following application and crashes and you get baned ohhhh that’s grinded my gears XD

Just like what the others have said, you are the reason the DC penalties even exist. You get unfun games once in a while so suck it up and move on. if you're gonna whine and cry about it instead of just dealing with it and moving on expecting every game to be a fun experience then you're entitled. All of your reasons dont give you an excuse to just abandon your team making the game unfun for everyone else just for your own selfish sake

I thought on doing that, but not only I had to report (which I did), I needed to send a video of the whole game to support and not even know if it fits their standards, because I won't be notified of the outcome. So in the end it didn't make a difference. But oh well...

Whats wrong with the ping indicator in the lobby? usually shows me if the game will be laggy or not. You are aware you can leave the lobby then, and not just wait for the game to start to disconnect then, right?

It only shows your connection to the server but not the other sides.

So if a killer has a high ping you are not aware of this in the lobby and you will get bs hits.

I find that returning "screw over the others" argument very interesting.

We all accuse eachother constantly of being super toxic but here we suddenly are the best of friends and should care for eachother?

But sorta related, a camping killer for example means there is no match, no value, just a waste of time so yeah you are not really screwing over the team in that case, you are just dipping out and suggest others do the same.

Yea, the game is super toxic and most of the players would deserve it to get screwed over by their mates.

But the thing is, not everyone is toxic.

Lets say you play as a Survivor and in your team were 2 toxic survivors and one really kind and helpfull survivor.

Now you decide to DC for whatever reason, everyone is screwed over (even the killer kinda)

Now the 2 toxic survivors probaly deserved it but whats with the one good survivor? He didnt deserved it and also does have a problem now.

Also if you get camped its the best to just struggle as long as you can so your mates can do gens.

By this way, you heavenly punish the killer for it and if everyone would do that, there wouldnt be any campers anymore.

In every case DCing is the wrong way. Except for bugs and hackers of course but they are so rare, you wont get a high penalty for it and its not worth it to remove the penalties just for this.

I ever only had to DC 1 or 2 times because of bugs and one time because of a full team of hackers. Its so rare that you REALLY have to DC, that you shouldnt even care for.

That one kind survivor can just run up and die as well? what will they lose? oh no their precious ermm item? or oh no a bit of rank? like who cares? just get to the next match and pray its one of some modicum of value.

and the struggling on the gens that punished killers, look, we are waaaay beyond that now, camping killers dont care about rank or bloodpoints, not one bit, you can do all the super exciting gameplay of sitting on a gen holding M1 all you want but its always just a waste of time, you get no points, you derank just like the killer and if the killer has noed probably wont escape anyway.

Its all a massive waste of time, honestly your time is worth more then that, dip and find a new match, its far more enjoyable.

(also imagine being the killer, if you want to go that route of discussion, you camp and all survivors just run up to you to die and they do that every match, that should be exciting right?"

Well yeah never said that it will work as bhvr says it does but they lie constantly to us so who knows. But now I think about it if that is how the game is going where even your team is against you then yeah leaving is fair. But they can’t tell that it was fair if that makes sense.

This is a team game and by leaving you ruin it for everybody. Stop it.

    1. This is an excuse, just gen rush and exit
    2. This is also an excuse, if the servers has high ping thats not the devs fault thats your internet
    3. Yet again, and excuse, just afk
    4. This is actually the only reasonable thing on here
    5. Excuse
