This devious mission for the new archive is BS
As the title says this mission is quite something. Wish I had a screenshot, but all I can do is provide the details as best as I can. So one game I was playing the doctor, lets get straight to the point thay I nailed 6,300 point for deviousness and yet the mission only added 630. Is there something I am misunderstanding or maybe I just need to look into more details on the emblems. Please do let me know and share your experience if you have the same issue.

It's bugged. It seems to be dependent on killer and map (Bubba seems to work more often). The Survivor challenge is similarly bugged by character and map (Meg and Yui worked more for me than Dwight).

Some killers are bughed with this challenge. Try someone else. I havent had a problem using deathslinger and ghostface.

I had issues with myers. Worked fine with legion. Throw on distressing and your set.

No, it's not bs. The deviousness that The Entity scores and what The Observer scores are just vastly different.

Now to be more specific I played only doc and pig for this mission so far. Thank yiu very much for providing some help and see you in the fog.

Lucky you. I've only been getting 16 points when I use the doctor. I think it works normally on some killers though or at least better than others.

I was getting more with pig than doc for a few games. Mind you I was running distressing on doc and not on pig (do not have the perk on her yet). So it seems to work with some better than others. I still call it BS since it was integrated that way, but ah well mistakes happen.

I got nothing using Pig, Doctor, Wraith, or Ghostface. Offerings, maps, perks -- nothing seemed to have any affect on what I was getting credit for. Finally played with the Clown, and the Devious points actually started counting correctly for the challenge, so who knows? None of it made it any sense, which ironically, means it fits the current buggy state of the game perfectly for a PS4 player like myself, lol.
On a related note, the survivor challenge had the same issue. My friend and I were playing together, and I all of a sudden stopped getting Objective points (after I had been getting them normally) while he was still getting them (and he was able to finish the challenge). We were in the same game, nearly identical perks, and obviously, offerings and maps were affecting us equally. It made zero sense. :facepalm:

Its bugged for the blight, but works fine with Oni...even though Oni gets too little deviousness points anyway lul

I appreciate the concern, this thread is not something I made to rage over this issue. I just wanted some helpful insights on how to go about this. Thankfully this community has provided me some good feedback.

Talked with one of my mates about this bug issue, and so far for me it worked okay with Billy on the killer side (I think) and Nea for the survivor side. Here's what he said verbatim: "OK So what they SHOULD do is A Extend the rift cause people have this bug. And B Give you whatever the currency is in a large amount to apologize for this bug."
