Solo proximity chat
So yeah other have said this already but here's my take on it. We all know solo que is well a very sad place. I agree with a proximity chat and I play both sides. It should be you can talk to each other within 8 meters not like SWF where you relay information across the map but more to plan out a strategy or tell the Claudette in a bush to fix a gen. Or help out your teammates if they're doing rough. And heck the killer if he's within the 8 meters can speak and listen also. But DBD has a good amount of toxics so if you want you can turn it off. If people are being harsh. My idea for it say your ideas or concerns below.

Look, I don't want to load into a trial and immediately have to mute everyone, I dont want a other excuse to sandbag (muting before speaking), and I certainly don't want the intended effect of suddenly everyone being an average SWF team, because the game WILL NOT ever be balanced around that.
Seriously, it won't. The Devs will look at the stats and go "Ahh, perfection, let's ignore the fact that all the kills come from teammates accidentally or deliberately throwing the game."

Appreciate the idea.
Once it starts getting toxic, more random players may be opting for muted matches instead of opting for coms.
You gave the prime example with “The Claudette in the Bush,” who probably enjoys being there in the bush and doesn’t want people creeping up within 8 meters of her telling her how she should play her match. I imagine those scenarios will revert players back to muted coms preventing any form of legitimacy in stats and the actual effectiveness of the feature.

My solo que experience is very sad because teammates are literal potatoes. The option of game chat would probably worsen this for me as in other games my solo que experience has worsened with game chat by needless insults and backseat gaming from someone who screwed up immediately and now thinks he knows what's best for my gameplay.

One of the core ideas I wished they'd "heavily borrowed" from F13; yeah there's often squakers and toxic creeps to mute but when it worked well proximity chat was amazing and added more to the killer vs survivor (or councilor fir F13) experience. People desperately begging with the killer or trying to do dirty rat on team mate deals or saying goofy things while getting chased or verbal mind games-it's a helluva good time when it's a good lobby.

I always imagine it will go something like this:

No thanks. I'll be okay with preset text bubbles.

Only if it works for the killer too. Zimbabwe Bubba here I come.

I don't normally buy games like this due to having to communicate with others, I have problems I won't go into here.
What sold me on the game was that it was a multiplayer game that didn't require communication to play. I would not use it even if they added it, then get flamed in messages sent by toxic players for not using it, then end up leaving the game for good.

I wish the supreme toxicity that likely would be spread by in this idea wasn't so. You should hear half of the stuff we talk about those convos need their own sitcoms. Sad some bad apples spool it...

Imagine hearing club beats as you try to listen to where the killer went
