This is a FREE to play, early access game with optional in game purchases for cosmetics.
I’m sick and tired of all the complaints and negativity on here regarding PS4 frame rate issues, missing friends, missing auric cells, the cost of costumes, well planned Halloween events and other nonsense.
Be grateful for what we have, if you don’t like it then go play Friday the 13th!!!!

I love having a game I spent tons of hours on spent countless amount on sitting on my ps4 knowing I can not play it. Its the best thing ever!! gives me plenty of time to go watch my fav fog whisper and go along on chat raids to smaller streamers and bully them wooo!
Also saves me time on the forums not being able to play as I can't complain about op perks! Best game ever..

a) No the game is $30 on ps4 and $20 on steam, not counting dlc for the full game which quickly adds up
b) You have to pay for game pass don't you? Not free.
I thought this was a joke but now I'm not sure with this response.

Ok well it was a $1 for game pass so not fully free, I did see somewhere that’s it’s free on this weekend though. Not sure about PS4 as I don’t have one.

It depends, what version do you wanna get on PS4?
The Silent Hill Edition is normally $50 but right now is available for $35. Meanwhile, the Stranger Things edition is $40. There's a sale on the lowest-end version of the game at the moment, $12 (normally $30).

First thing this game is not free to play
Second thing this game cost a lot if you buy the liscense character and you need them for perk and the killer provide diferent diversity
Third thing this game got for different way to try and make you spend money 1- the rift (its a battle pass but with mediocre reward and a crazy grind) 2- the skin 3- the dlc 4- you need to pay for the game
Fourth thing thing this game graphic are attrocious compare to the other game the graphic update make the game feel like a ps4 (or any platform you play) game but next gen is coming in 2 week.
Fifth thing this game got so many bug after each patch this is a joke now. Lets take another game for example that just release Genshin Impact is massive and its free to play yes this game is a gacha game but you can do all the content whitout putting a single dollars in that and they dev know at the release they had some issue with stats and sometime the game froze your quest or your way to get item 1 week later the game was patch with a compasation for the player. Mihoyo is not a big compagnie but the game got less breaking bug if we compare it with dbd. I know Genshin Impact is not perfect with the resin system and all but i compare the bug and the efficacity they fix thing.

Dude, the frames is some bull. I got this ######### on my DAY ONE PS4 which has all kinds of warps and can’t run the menus longer than 5-10 minutes without getting an over heating error, but when I get in those games the frames and are #########. Then the game warms up and goes as usual. Unplayable my ass. Wait a minute and you’ll be okay. If I can bully some killers on my ancient setup, then these mfs just being picky.

I don't have an Xbox. Plus, I've already put a lot of hours into the game and own all the DLC on PS4. Unless cross-progression becomes a thing (not holding my breath), there will be no switching to a different platform. Either they make it work on PS4 or I stop playing. It's way too expensive to buy all that stuff twice, not to mention having to start over with the ridiculous grind.

Sounds like a hardware issue, if your PS4 is out of warranty you could always look at replacing the thermal paste.

Idk. Only ever happens with dbd. My point was mainly that my old ps4 can still run dbd. It did scare me to see the frames the first time but it just caught up and worked so I don’t mind it unless I spawn near killer and get chased.
