Licensed Character Archives
So, the Dev's recently said that some licensed characters are getting archives. I imagine not every licensed character will get one, legal issues and all that, but which ones do you think are most likely? In my opinion - probably Ghostie. He's strange in the way that he's both licensed and original. Jed Olsen is an original character, he just uses a licensed mask.

I would imagine Ghost Face would be the biggest candidate simply because BHVR have the greatest freedom with him (being both licensed and original, as you said).
Otherwise I think characters with more vague history would be more likely than those who've already starred in like 5+ movies.
Demogorgon is probably the next most likely, as it barely actually appears in the show and we never got to know much about it (by extension, this could also involve Steve and/or Nancy). Though I have no idea how you'd write about this monster, I don't think giving it any kind of inner monologue would sound right.
Pig is probably another good choice. I've not seen all the SAW movies (just the first few), but we could probably explore more of Amanda's history before she was first placed in a "game" or get a side story of her acting as Jigsaw's apprentice.
If Konami allows it, I could even see Pyramid Head getting an Archive. He's pretty much an enigma, plus they could honestly just create the DbD-sparknotes version of SH2 and call it his "lore".
For survivors, I think Bill and Ash would be the most likely (besides characters associated with the aforementioned killers). Bill hasn't really had a major backstory ever (just the gruff Vietnam vet surviving the zombie apocalypse) and that could be created/explored. Ash is just Ash, that path could lead just about anywhere.
I don't think we'll be likely to see any of the big slasher film characters appearing in the archives, those seem to be the ones with the trickier licensing restrictions anyway.

Either way I'm leaving the forums if they decide to do a licensed killer archive with no ways for people who dont have that character to complete the challenges. The backlash will be insane.

it will be side-challenges like now with the DLC chars that won’t be necessary to complete the tome

The original roster is pretty big. They won't be forced to use them for awhile. Though two killers and two survivors each Tome and they'll burn out eventually.

I believe the licensed Killers with most cosmetics are the highest candidates for an Archive update, especially if they keep receiving them long after bein released.

If they can get a silent hill chapter out of all chapters, then they can definitely fit in a licensed archive for PH or Cheryl.
