I´d ask them how much the feedback of the community actually matters to them. Like, in all honesty and not a washed down prescripted answer.
For example, in the context of the current hot topic, it seemingly didn´t matter at all.

Actively stand out and denounce toxicity, work on implementing features that encourage a nicer gaming atmosphere, make examples of some worst offenders to send a message to the rest.
