Small shadownerf to Trapper?
Played a trapper game and was getting ready to set up traps at the exit gate, but it wasn’t allowing me to set one up anywhere NEAR the exit gate (so I guess this was a bit of a nerf for hag as well). Thoughts? Was this from the most recent bug fix patch, or 4.3?

Oh dear I hope this is a bug. Trapper doesn’t have much going for him at the best of times.

Yeah I hope so too for the same reasons. There’s a huge radius around the gate that you can’t put a trap down, so unfortunately it kind of seems intentional ngl. I imagine that’s where Hags traps come into play. Question is, why?

Poor guy. He’s my favorite killer. Seems a bit unfair to further neuter him.

So this, right after they dismiss claims that OoO is in need of a tweak, especially when trapper is one of the killers most punished by OoO.
What exactly is this change supposed to accomplish? You're basically just punishing and limiting their power during the point in the game when they need it most.
And they added the god loops back to Haddonfield, like, what the hell is going on?
Quality of life changes, or blatant retaliation from the devs? You decide.

No need to overreact lol, this is probably a bug. It also has nothing to do with OoO, Haddonfield, etc.

It's a known bug that the Trapper cannot put traps close to exit gates in the new MacMillan maps. If it was some other map, please make a bug report.

It's gotta be a bug. Happens to me when I play hag. You can set it at one door but not the other. Seems to happen most frequently on Ironworks map.

it is a confirmed bug on Macmillan maps. It affects Freddy, Hag, and Trapper. These three killers cannot place traps near exit gates or near the big tree.

new assets usually cause issues :/
Still haven't fixed some of the weirder collision issues for huntress on the "updated" maps.

"Small shadownerf". Basically you can no longer close the hatch and see wich gate the survivor is opening
