Need Input for Creating DBD Themed Game Room

So, recently I decided that I hate my game room. So, in an effort to do something unique and incorporate a game I love, I will be dedicating the entire game room from top to bottom to DBD.

So my question is this, what do you all think would be cool or be consistent with the game room as far as DBD is concerned. What would you like to see, what are some of the most iconic scenes that are recreatable for a game room based around dead by daylight.

I have lots of ideas for it, but I would really like to hear from fellow fans of the game to get a bit of a different perspective.

Thanks!

Well, a couple things you need to ask yourself:

Do you main Killer or Survivor?

Depending on the previous answer, who do you main, if anyone at all?

If you main a particular character, look into commissioning some things or buying some things that relate to the character

I main Oni, so I’ll describe my ideal game room and maybe it will inspire you:

Oni desktop wallpaper, that’s a must.

    Yamaoka family crest poster

    Oni mask decoration

    DbD-esqu Oni katana

    Red colors

    Oni figurines

Maybe a couple books about Oni in folklore

A copy of the shrine in the Yamaoka estate (the small one in the house, not the actual shrine)

Traditional Japanese furniture fitting the time period

Replicas of posters on the Yamaoka maps

Small sculpture of Oni’s broken statue

Replicas of some of his add ons

This would of course change depending on your preferences, but hopefully this gave you some ideas :)

If you're gonna have a dbd game room you need a killer mask collection to go with it , Myers, legion, huntress, ghostface, pig , trapper, leatherface etc.. you get the point , also dbd themed shot glasses , have the room be a dark color with the logo on the wall kinda like the screen loading into the game and have that be the main wall design, and depending on your taste there is a ton of dbd themed merch to use on furniture, lighting , posters etc.. and I said the loading screen on the wall only because it would be outrageous to try and paint the walls like iron works of misery theme and it gives you a easier time finding stuff to match

    Thanks for the feedback!

I Dont particularly main anyone or anything. I am a bit all over the place. But I do like the idea of basing the room off one character. So I will give it some thought.

I really like the mask idea. I have never thought of that. I was planning on making a mannequin of a peeking Ghostface, since it would be cheap and easy. But this may be the way to go.

I am going to have a locker. I'm going to remove the closet door and build a locker around it so that I can access the storage that way. Great minds think alike!

So, ill let you know what I do have planned. One wall, that has a mounted back-lit TV will be nearly completely covered in pallet wood. I'll have a lit totem, closet converted into a locker. I am going to make a life size sacrificial hook and have it double as a lamp. I'm painting the ceiling and walls a gradient blue/gray that will fade to black from top to bottom. I am also going to attempt to construct the entity emerging from the ceiling. My desk will also be illuminated and covered in pallet wood and tin siding.

Its hard to explain, but I will be doing a series of YouTube videos on everything I build. I may possibly stream it. Not too sure though.

Also don't forget about survivor's favourite action. We have Pyramid head exclusives as well.

I think totems with orange nightlights in them would be pretty sweet. Dull during the day, hex at night

Get cardboard cut outs of the dev team,

Then you could hang money from fishing line from the ceiling to make it look like its raining $$

Then you could throw a couple copies of dbd underneath their feet, add some chat bubbles next to their heads with amazing facts

    cosmetics > game quality

    OoO is balanced

    Glitches ftw

I mean there is many many options as to what goes in the quote bubbles. Im sure it won't be hard to come up with some ideas.

If you need anymore ideas let me know i think im on to something. 😂
