There are a few ways to play her but I suggest watching scorpionz (sorry if I butchered his name I'm not a viewer but I've heard that he plays pig like a madman.

All the tips I can say but from my experience is, try finding someone asap, down them and if possible put a party hat on them before the first gen pops, I know it sounds really hard but that adds a lot of pressure.
Don't go crouching to every place, try crouching when you are around 32-36 meters of a gen.
Combat straps best addon.
She isn't that hard to use but she is hard to master so don't give up!.

Ok so i main pig pretty much only play here. My play style might be different than alot of pigs. I like to stall with her and buy as much time as possible. As soon as i down sombody i throw on a trap hook them and then go look for someone else. I use double gears on her or one of the gears along with a shortened timer. I dont aim for head pops but usually get at least one. I dont use her dash really at all. I use the crouch every now and then. Put im more trap reliant.

Main thing: RBTs are not designed to get you kills. They are meant to delay the game while the Survivors try to get them off instead of repairing.

Make sure to cook them to enough to ensure they won't make you sick. Raw pig is dangerous. Goes great with mashed potatoes.

Avoid chasing the person with a trap on their head as much as possible. It's their to buy you time and they're alot less reliable while they have it on, especially if it's active. Survivors are more-likely to take a hit for them, if you do find them out of place or on a gen. Lastly, don't get overzealous with your traps. There's no need to use your 3rd or 4th trap if the games barely progressed.

Just check the boxes while chasing. If you see someone with the trap on their head, slug 'em then keep going until everyone has a trap and keep slugging to delay their chances to get the trap off their head or hook them for the same effect.

Many piggys like to run Whispers so when it lights up you crouch only then because thst perk's range is about the same as her standing terror radius. This lets you know you are near a surv and can crouch immediately so they won't hear the heartbeat, and cross more map faster while running.
I don't use Whispers because I never look at my perks while hunting, but I am not a great piggy either.

Hit and run is my play-style, same as wraith and ghostface; Basically, injure, leave, find later with stealth and nurses. Also STBFL is god-like on her. I’m only a level 5 pig though so take my advice with a grain of salt.

pigs crouch and dash has a bunch more versatility than people think, and it has pretty decent mindgame potential at small loops
also, on certain maps some loops can become dead loops (like the tractor on coldwind maps) with her dash
edit: forgot to mention that most of her dash stuff is pretty easy to learn, you just gotta practice a bit. Scorpionz has a lot of really good tips and shi with dashes, and since there’s too much to type tbh it’d be best to watch one of his videos

I main Pig as well... She versatile So she has many playstyles...
Here's mine:
First my perks are- Sloppy/ Corrupt Intervention/ BBQ/ Whispers
My Addons- Video tape/ Combat Straps (or Double Sketch/ Crate of Gears/ Tampered Timer)
In match: Find survivors (Activate Whispers) Crouch for a sneaky hit... or stand up and start chase
Down first survivor, Trap, Hook
BBQ for aura ( If shown go to that location... If not then look around the hook then expand search)
Repeat
Also save a Trap for later for extra pressure late game
Dont chase survivors with a Trap on... Natural DS defense
Also @Almo My first kill was a head pop... lol ( Now I have about 40 or so)

for me best build is head trap build where survivor has only minute to get rid of it... almost everytime I have 1 kill on trap :)

I had a match where one gen caused two trap to activate and kill...Only one gen was done the entire match... I was using Video Tape and Combat Straps...
The survivors were purple ranked

Then Otz proved that you can easily get 1 kill on average with traps with certain addons LUL you don't even play your own game. Traps are a stupid mechanic that can kill you without counterplay if you have bad RNG or the killer tries a bit to kill you with it.
