Do you guys get offended if I do this to you?
I was playing survivor in one match where there was a twitch guy playing the killer. Every time I pallet stun here I did slap and point finger motion at her, and blinded her while breaking pallet. I wasn't stream sniping her - I just do it all the time. After she got me, she started to facecamp and reveal my steam profile to viewers. Lol I mean it's just a game why would u even play dbd if u get offended by hand gesture?

You reap what you sow. If your standard play involves BM, that makes you a prime target to be treated in kind. Obviously you´re offended by the same kind of stuff, so why do you complain?
The profile reveal seems over the top though, not sure if it´s even allowed.

Yes, that can be annoying to some killers and also make them believe that you are a toxic player. It is the same thing with tbagging.

I personally dont care about tbags or flashlight blinds or clicks. I can just ignore them.
What really triggers me is when a survivor is spamming loud noise notifications. As killer you are very reliant on sound, so you are more or less expected to have the game very loud. And loud noise notification are probably one of the loudest things in the game. Its like screaming into someone's ears constantly. I facecamp people that do that.

I mean, the facecamp is just considered normal gameplay strategy and is not better or worse than what you did..
the profile reveal is another topic, but this is a multiplayer online game where your profile can be viewed for other players after the match, and it’s not breaking any rules I think?
If you did get harassed by some of their viewers, you can report them via steam

I mean I am not exactly offended but rather confused about her reaction. And I didn't know pointing fingers or slapping is considered a BM

how can you not know that finger pointing after a pallet hit may be interpreted as BM? That’s pretty straight forward.
also what do you mean with slapping?

I can't say for sure if it's allowed, but streams are public, and the profile wasn't set to private if it can be shown.

I would not, you'd be just another fish in a wide ocean to me.

By slapping I mean when you execute "follow me / come here" action but I've seen some twitch streamers doing that to killer after pallet stun and looks like you are "slapping" the killer
0 -
Oh okay, never interpreted it as slapping.
well still pretty normal to assume you are doing it to BM since it doesn’t serve any other purpose.

Both the "slapping" and facecamping are both considered to be pretty rude/annoying actions, yes.
Showing someone's profile on stream in a "negatively charged" way sounds like an absolutely terrible idea in every way though. Might not be active encouragement of harassment but all it takes is a single turbo-clown deciding it's time for some vigilante "justice" in their audience to make them look like an absolute dingus.
There's several reasons many streamers try to hide the information of other players afterall. Often to not give trolls attention, but also to make it harder for clowns in their audience to go harassing people "for them".

It's a form of BM and definitely incredibly rude, but what they did is not warranted by that.
They reap what they sow, and I hope lost viewers for personal and public vilification/harassment.

No, it doesn’t offend me and I don’t mind it.
I don’t behave that way toward killers when I’m surviving (tho I have administered a mild tbag/ brief point at exit gate or hatch when killers decided to kabab me while on hook).
I’d actually prefer killers to have the ability to give a gesture back, themselves, in those situations, as I think it would be fun, but not everyone would see it that way and it could end up being abused, creating more toxic scenarios.

If I hold my middle finger up straight and proud, do you get offended? Lol, why? It's just a finger.
1 -
The reverse can be asked. If you’re not intending to get a reaction from the killer by doing these gestures, then why do it?

I wouldnt be offended no but you have to remember theres a lot of little sensetive souls in this game that get upset by someone pointing at them.
I find it hilarious when i get tbagged off Ghostface, i can almost taste his sweaty balls as he bounces up and down on my chin. Its fun. Getting beaten to death on hook by Bubba also, its fun to me.

if a streamer gets pissed off that easily then maybe they shouldn't play dbd

tbags or flashlight blinds get to me sometimes but I'm with you on the spamming loud noise notifications drives me nut worse then tbags or flashlight blinds

So ur saying if I press the key 1 I am technically holding my middle finger up at you? Nice to know

I mean I'm someone who enjoys getting BM'd and finds it funny, although I don't actually BM myself unless it's at the gate, which I do if the killer played really boring, was Spirit/Freddy/Deathslinger/Pyramid Head, or had NOED. I have no bias against this, so coming from someone who has that perspective I can tell you it's absolutely BM and I guess it would be wise to be aware of that, because many killers will definitely mald over this.

Same. Luckily most people don't do that to nurses 😆

I finger point to entertain the killer if I see them stalking me before running away, but that pallet stunning and flashlight paired with it is kind of provoking them, yeah? Why else would you do that? Showing your profile won't fix that and I'm sorry she did that, but yes, I am a survivor main but I respect the killer and realize there is a person just trying to have fun on the other side of the screen. I can't stop you from doing it, but it can be seen as rude. I like bringing a flashlight and shining it on totems and the exit gates to (hopefully) make them laugh-- I did that with huntress once and she and I played hide and seek after I adore her lol <3!!
