4Ks and the last Survivor

So im rather new to DBD, ive only been playing for a few months now and i usually prefer killer to survivor but enjoy both roles for the most part.

Anyways i wanted to feel the communities feelings on letting the last survivor go in a wash game. Obviously if they taunted or if the doors are powered i understand wanting to kill all 4 survivors. But when theres still 3 gens left, 1 person DCed and 2 others have been sacrificed is it really so much to let the last survivor go? Personally as long as no one taunted me im usually always okay with getting two and letting two go (though that's me personally).

How do you deal with the last survivor in a wash game? Cause i feel as killers we need to be a little more giving if its obvious they arent gonna beat us.

I still do it at red ranks, honestly after you hit rank 1 once it doesnt matter so much anymore. If a survivor rage quits I usually give the last guy the hatch and play around a little more

I let my foot off the gas if a survivor immediately disconnects or suicides on the hook.

If survivors are not being pricks, I'll generally let all 3 just go (either naturally because they get everything done as I'm playing a lot easier for them or unnaturally as I slug at the death hook and let them get picked up and finish the game).

If a survivor(s) are being pricks, I will end them and let the non-pricks leave.

I personally go into every game expecting and attempting to get a 4k.

If my competitors seem to be a bit of potatoes, I may take it easy on them. Let them get some gennys and such. But then I will probably still try for the 4k.

I won't however slug for the 4k. I just think it sucks when it happens to me so I won't do it to others. If you get the hatch first so be it. A hatch escape during a 3k is still a win for the killer.

I will allow Tapps to get the hatch, because that is who I main and you don't get a bunch of them. Also 4% I let go if that happens during end game.

And , if you were just a supreme player, I may allow you to go. God looper, well I can appreciate the art and the skill.

But with that said, I am a sweaty ass killer and I am going to make you earn everything you get. I play as fair as I can, but I am going for the 4k.

If they annoy me in some way, not likely. But if they are precious little Dwights and Jakes who hide in the corner every time they hear the terror radius I'll be super duper nice and give them like 10 extra chances and goof around with them and not try to actually kill them

It's really up to the killer at that point. I don't get upset with them if they sacrifice me and get the 4k, and I love it when we can play around and I escape or get some extra points. I will admit I sometimes sacrifice myself if they were nice to me at the end, but I can't always risk that depip especially if it's only two gens and no teammates :( But I always appreciate a good play, so as long as we all had fun, then I'm happy <3!
