Anime characters in the game.
I have seen a recent post talking about anime chapters in the game and I thought about a survivor who could be a fit in the game, I was thinking of Subaru from Re:Zero!
Why am I picking this character, because when he dies, he returns to a sort of "checkpoint", kinda like DbD characters, they die, go back to the campfire.
Just a funny idea for a survivor from animes to DbD

Half of JoJo's stand powers could make up a unique killer.
My personal fav's would be:
Touching an object with power makes it a bomb that deals damage to all survivors happening to be nearby/contacting with it when you press the switch + heat seeking missile that chases after survivors on its own and damaging them if it manages to catch them.
And this thing
Pressing power button locks survivors in the last action they were performing (basically makes the game force survivors do the last command the player gave them, like holding W or holding M1 and ignoring any further commands until the ability is over so for example survivor was holding W running into the window while this ability was activated, the survivor would just keep running until he bumps into the window and that would be so until the ability is canceled/over, then the survivor would be able to control themselves again) and reveals the positions survivors will end up once the ability ends.
Killer is allowed to freely move during that time, although his movement speed is reduced and he cannot attack survivors until he cancels the ability. Survivors cannot see anything that happens while the ability is active, however there's short wind-up time giving survivors a chance to start doing an action that will not lead them to dead end. The unique trait of this ability is that it could be activated any time, no matter whether the killer is locked in animation, stunned or performing any other action that does not allow usage of killer's power, however it would still require a short wind up.
Secondary ability has 30 seconds cooldown and allows to dodge any stun that could be dodged or blind incoming 3 seconds after the activation of this ability. So you have to predict whether the stun occurs or not and since you have "forecasted" what is going to happen, you manage to avoid this.

I personally don’t want anime characters in the game because the art style is not fitting imo.
but then again i have asked for Don’t Starve or Little Nightmare chapters so I guess i just don’t like anime..

I really wouldn't mind, just as long as it's done well, both to keep up the feel of the character, and to mix it with the feel of the game.

I would love a Mirai Nikki chapter. Yuno Gasai as Killer, maybe Yuuki as survivor.

Identity V having a blast with Persona 5, Detective Conan and Danganronpa, and ######### Junji Ito stuff.
Personally, theres nothing wrong with adding manga/anime stuff to DBD. The problem might be incompatible artstyles. It can beretty hard to get anime characters to look like themselves in "realistic" character models. IDV's style can adapt characters more easily.
The "Weeb" crowd are quite the hypocrites too, dismissing anime as childish and then demand a clown or midget doll.
Doesnt help that the anime crowd keeps asking for jojo or REALLY unditting stuff. We all know that Dio is just an Sakuya copycat anyways 😂
Edit: Subaru would definitely fit dbd, hes kinda the shmuck to end up in such situations, but im having a hatd time recalling anything re:zero fit for a killer slot, and I only recall that vampire lady that isnt too op to be a killer in dbd. Well maybe betelgeuse, he looks the part.

It just wouldn’t really fit in with the games feel because seeing people designed for the anime screen in dbd it just wouldn’t really feel right

I don't think regular anime would be a good fit for this game but I think anything from Junji Ito's library of horror would be amazing. If they could somehow collaborate with him on a chapter it would be amazing!

A titan from Attack on Titan would be a fun killer. They even had several that were small enough.

It's just a funny idea to do so, it could open up more doors for even more stuff, just like how they did with Pyramid Head being from a video game!
It will be hard to make an anime character into DbD but fun if it ever happened
No thanks, I'm not interested in Jojo, only good thing about the anime is the memes, rest is pretty meh, people can want this weird ######### but I personnaly don't wanna hear "WRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY" every time a jojo character is killer

From all these ideas in here im seeing in here seems like a lot of people just need to go play Jump Force. Or BHVR can sell itself to Shonen Jump and get a brand new dev team, go free to play, add perks purchaseable with auric cells, pay 50 auric cells to revive yourself after you have been hooked 3 times, and add dramatic dialouge as Kenshiro is coming at Dwight in the locker.
I like some anime but it doesnt belong here. This is all about movie inspired, slashers.

If it was done wrong, yes but it all depends on how its done, plus the devs have stated they are willing to pull killers from all sorts of media, Anime included
