My first thought was like: "A Wendigo, has to be an Until Dawn Chapter!". But when you look closer, what would be a typicial BHVR move? Put a wrong track (Until Dawn) and then cause a surprise (Supernatural). The description says: "Our past can sometimes be a burden that drives us to the most dangerous places in search of answers and hope... " - It fits so well with Supernatural! And it makes even more sense when you think about the fact, that the final episode airs on november 19th. Maybe I'm too optimistic about this, but I really think it's possible!

I actually thought of hag because of the muddy footsteps, but I feel like it's a stretch. The trailer gave out so little information it's difficult to guess.

I LOVE this thought! I definitely think it may be a stretch but my first thought was also Wendigo given the settings and the apparent strength of the arm coming down. Be pretty dope to have Sam and Dean as survivors too xD I definitely think it's a unlikely stretch but man I'd love that!
Any thoughts on what the power of the wendigo might be? Maybe have a power that "bites" the survivor. Perhaps grabs them and takes a few seconds to take the bite which then puts the survivor into the injured state. And with each bite the killer gets a small speed boost and a token from gaining strength by eating the flesh of a human. Then after so many tokens you can spend them to make your next hit down a survivor in one shot regardless of health system or things like BT or Soul Guard. Once you spend the tokens you lose the speed boost and any other benefits that come from the bite. Maybe along with the exposed hit and speed you could break pallets fast from being stronger or something. Just the first thing that comes to mind, we already have a few one hit and exposed based killers, this idea sounding close to Myers Tier system especially. But it can be fun to speculate!

My guess is the Rake.
It matches the physical design, being pale. The snarls sound remarkably similar to the rake.
The attached twitter quote has references to the past being a burden. Which matches the Kake perfectly.
The Killer in the trailer can be heard running on all 4s, which matches the Rake.
Theres no trademark for the reveal, which works for the Rake since it's public domain.
Leaks By Daylight had the killer purchasable with Shards, the Rake being Public Domain makes that extremely easy.
If its not the Rake, it's OC or I have no clue.

Those words make me think of two things.
1. Pumkinhead. If you know the lore on it, then you see where that clue applies. In short, if you seek revenge you can summon pumpkinhead, forming a link with it. You see through its eyes as it kills those you marked, feeling the pain it inflicts on them. It also feels your pain.
2. While small leap, but scp-096. I'm not even going to explain that one. But the clue could apply to the Foundation in general.
