The difference between challenge & overpowered

I'd say skill is the largest determining factor in how threatening a killer is. A low-skilled killer is easy to a high-skilled survivor, while a high-skilled killer can be overpowered to a low-skill survivor.

But the killer doesn´t know the skilllevel of the survivors, while survivors use swf to pair high-skilled survivors vs low-skilled killers. So thats just one point why swf is overpowered.

Considering killer is suppose to be the power role, what makes them a threat? Many have varying ideas on how they should be, but what I'd like to know is which features change a killer from easy- challenge- overpowered. Not referencing perks cause those are interchangeable or addons cause those are consumable/inconsistent.The only thing that makes killers a threat is the ability to counter loops.
Sadly only nurse has that ability1 -

Sadly only nurse has that abilityHuntress? She has the ability to counter loops. Although not as powerful as the Nurse as she doesn’t break the game mechanics like the Nurse does. Putting perks on killers such as Bamboozle can counter loops especially with EW III Myers. They just aren’t as strong as Huntress or Nurse in countering loops.

No she has not. A good survivor knows how to loop a huntress and it was only possible to counter loops with the old insta windup build

Personally I find the stealth and ambush killers the most challenging. The tr for other killers just makes it easy to maneuver around them. Plus if a killer knows how to use the corners it make interactions more engaging and fun.0

Easy: The killer is a camper the first person they see. I'm usually not the first person found so in these situations as long as teammates aren't stupid, we're all getting out or I'm finding the hatch.
Challenge: Killer's that can out mind-game me and predict my movements. More importantly, killers that adapt and don't fall for the same trick twice.
Overpowered: Have you faced a talented hag on Gideon meat plant, with nurses calling, sloppy butcher, deerstalker, and ruin? She's omnipresent.

*Wipes tear from my eye* hearing hag is powerful just makes me so happyWahara said:Easy: The killer is a camper the first person they see. I'm usually not the first person found so in these situations as long as teammates aren't stupid, we're all getting out or I'm finding the hatch.

She can be. In my book at least, she's the third best killer in the game. She suffers more from coordinated SWF groups than other killers, though.

When you mentioned it was a hag and not a nurse I have hope for hag kind.Wahara said:Overpowered: Have you faced a talented hag on Gideon meat plant, with nurses calling, sloppy butcher, deerstalker, and ruin? She's omnipresent.

Honestly Hag is not an issue for me most of the time, I can usually either survive or preform really well in a match with the Hag. The killer that gets me triggered is Bing Bong. I know he is a weak killer but EVERYTIME I’m against him I’m the first one found...proceed to be camped, tunneled, and sacrified. Bing Bong is just a natural camper. I have a bad time against stealth killers.

The only true OP thing a killer has is a pink mori. I've only had maybe 3 or 4 games ever where I used a pink mori and more than 2 people escaped.
