I cracked the code on the new Chapter
Ormond is on the list of maps getting a rework in the new Chapter and it's also the oldest outdoor realm without a second map yet... so its probably due for a second variation. Mount Ormond Resort is confirmed to be in Alberta, Canada.
Unlicensed Chapter- New Killer will be an original based on the native american legend of the Wendigo. The Survivor will likely give us Native American representation. It will feature a new map for the Ormond Realm.
Licensed Chapter- New Killer will be based on the Wendigo from Until Dawn, Hannah Washington. The new Survivor(s) will be based on Until Dawn with skins for characters from the Dark Pictures Anthology (a New Dark pictures game was released less than a month ago, which is great timing for promotion with this Chapter). It will feature a new map, Mount Blackwell, which happens to conveniently be located in Alberta, Canada and may be listed under the Ormond Realm.

I have Until Dawn in my backlog, but this Springtrap style of constantly posting about desperately wanting it in the game is making me never want to play it.

But the map we see in the trailer is Macmillan at best. Sorry, I doubt the Map Team has had time to prepare another map.

I would be pretty happy if it's the Wendigo. I been asking for that kind of killer for a long time. The Lore and mythos behind Wendigo's is purely amazing, one of my favorite creatures in the horror genre.

This ones original because there would be a trade mark on it and normally they dont tease chapters if they are licensed because non disclouser reasons

Why is everyone fixated on the wendigo? It could just as easily be another cryptid like a chupacabra, or something from contemporary lore like the Rake.

There is a difference between the kids constantly asking for Springtrap and the people trying to tie similarities between Until Dawn and the teaser. People can hate Until Dawn and still think it to be a plausible scenario.

I'm still betting it's one of the Ghuls from Middle Earth Shadow of Mordor/Shadow of War. Those pinkish-purple little turds are tiny, cause a ton of damage, but go down in 1 hit, but above all they're relentless.

I don't think Licenced maps can be in the same region as Original maps

Those people I despise, spamming for Springtrap to come into the game is ridiculous, I get that some people aren't into it as I am but I wouldn't just spam it. I would show some more negativity toward those people but Forum rules, just know I hate those kind of people, I just wished everyone else would realize not all of those whos support Fnaf in DBD are like this

They put out a teaser though, so I am skeptical it's anything licensed. I think a wendigo or something LIKE that is probable, but it being licensed and not original is what I have doubts about.

I don't think it's a licensed chapter, it's most likely original. Here is what I know (could be you guys too)
The killer is going to be female you can tell by the noises she makes
The survivor is most likely going to be female, why you ask, the devs want to balance the survivors, Felix got the male survivors to 12, the female's right now have 11.
The reason why I think it's not licensed is cause the teaser didn't made it obvious that it's going to be a licensed, Sony hates sharing things so Until Dawn won't be happening
The Witch from Left 4 Dead has sharp claws (nails) in the teaser you can see that she had normal looking hands, so it can't be the witch
The map, it's giving me Autohaven and Ormond vibes, hopefully it's none of them, I lowkey want another map. By seeing the killer and the why she crawls, it can possibly be a sewer map.

Doesn't matter if the teaser is in MacMillan, look at Deathslinger for example. All we got for a teaser was a chain, and the lighting is no way the lighting of Dead Dawg Saloon
