Trapper is a pretty cool killer

This discussion is dedicated to positive things about the OG killer, the Trapper.

For starters, both Brutal Strength and Agitation are very good perks that fill their role nicely.

His base design is one of the most horrifying in the game. Seeing the mask staring at you as he walks towards you as you helplessly try to get out of the bear trap is one of the most "this is not okay" moments in the game.

    I wish base Wraith and Trapper didn't suck. They are a lot of fun except for grinding addons to make them playable.

    I feel like Trapper needs a bit of a buff for either what most people say which is to carry all of his traps rather than wondering the map to gather them up.

    But my idea is one of two buffs to possibly make him better. Give him more traps, in other words new and different traps that serve different purposes but can still notify him. His name is the trapper and it shouldn't solely be based on him setting Bear Traps alone, he should have traps like wooden stakes that puncture survivors who vault over windows, alarm traps that notify him every time a survivor is around a certain area and possibly leading them into a bear trap. That sort of thing.

    Or a slightly better idea is to tap into that more Jason side of him, Trapper without a doubt is completely based off of Jason Voorhees, and Jason is depicted as an unstoppable force that brutally kills people. Now making trapper an "Unstoppable Force" could be a bit OP, however I was thinking of a way to make it so that it's something like the Oni and Myers ability. If he's able to injure people with his traps and weapon in general, he can fill a power gauge that will make him enter a Rage Mode of sorts. He'll be able to vault windows faster, walk through breakable walls, be completely unable to get stuck in his own traps, and destroy pallets 10% faster. His lunge attack will also increase the distance he can swing, but it can only last for around 1 minute and 30 seconds or 2 minutes. I feel like if that could be implemented, then trapper can actually be slightly more viable and become more of a fearsome killer like the one he's based off of.


    But personally there are two things that kind of weaken trapper in my opinion other than setting traps and collecting them. The two things that I feel that weaken him is when the survivors don't run to loops you've trapped, and him getting caught in his own traps, which btw... HE CAN FU**ING SEE THEM! He can see the aura's of his traps, so why can he get stuck on them?!
