Any Means Necessary Should Be An Exhaustion Perk
As it is currently, noone really uses it. If it is made into an exhaustion perk, the lower cd will entice more survivors. They will also have to be wary of when they use it if they have other exhaustion perks in their loadout.

It shouldn't be an exhaustion perk.
it already has a cooldown and really only one use. to reset un broken pallets.

This will most likely have the opposite effect.
Aside from just trying something different, which meta-addicts would swap their Dead Hards & Sprint Bursts for AMN?

No one would run it if it was an exhaustion perk. It's already a questionable perk to run as the pallets you can generally reset with it are ones that are unsafe as killers will instantly destroy safe pallets. Making it compete it exhaustion perks would kill it's usage.

You can certainly run both. When thinking of this, I thought it would be more fun if you run the risk of using AMN and having your other exhaustion perk on cd. However, others certainly do not think the same lol. I didn't intend for this to compete with other exhaustion perks but to be used in addition with other exhaustion perks.

Would kill the perk even further

Your suggestion is to literally nerf a perk that picks up pallets. Considering killers break every pallet aside from the ones that spawn between the house and a tree in the backyards of Haddonfield, you already get nearly no use out of it. Now, to make it negate a survivor's most powerful tool is just a really bad idea.

Absolutley not.

They could remove the cooldown altogether and it wouldn't increase the amount it is run. It's effect may be strong, but it's very existence forced killers to kick pallets more and thus remove it's direct use for indirect, forced bad gameplay.

It would actually be a really good exhaustion perk if the pallet resetting animation was quick enough to realistically reset a pallet mid chase. Buffed from taking 4 seconds to taking 1-2 seconds

Making bad perks incompatible with perks that aren't bad is not how you get more people to use bad perks.

That is a very neat suggestion. Whatever the case, I do feel like it still needs a change. Unfortunately, the major consensus is that making it an exhaustion perk isn't it. xD

Um, no. That would kill the perk. I run any means necessary every game because I have a lot of fun running it. And it's already hard enough to get good pallet resets as is. Making it an exhaustion would decrease it's usage further since you wouldn't be able to use it with actually useful exhaustion perks like sprint burst or dead hard.

Making it an exhaustion perk would be impractical. However, lowering the cooldown too much could cause unforseen problems, so it might need some testing.

I know what you were trying to do.
I just don't see this happen at all because of what i said, most Survivors i see run 1 Exhaustion Perk.

I think the perk is fine where it is now, although of course wouldn't mind further buffs. I regularly use it... along with Dead Hard. Making it an exhaustion perk would be me unequip AMN.

This would kill the perk. What you also don't take into account is that there are exhaustion add ons in the game and they aren't rare. Those would then cause AMN to be even more useless although admittedly in the case of huntress she shouldn't even have them.

I have never seen anyone use it as of late. This change will literally just make it vanish in publich match.

Ah, the Thanatophobia balancing approach? Taking a trash perk and making it worse.

Any means Neccesary definitely needs another change imo, but not exhaustion. I was thinking maybe seeing all dropped pallets in a certain range? Not sure, but exhaustion would be weird tbh

Meta-addicts? Lol what a ridiculous term. Nobody would use this perk as an exhaustion perk, never mind people who enjoy playing with some of the stronger perks in the game, er, sorry, I mean meta-addicts.

See? Fits really well.

Ok, let's nerf exhaustion perks first

Well when you're right, you're right!

Oh no, that's not me trying to force my opinion on you, that's just me showing off mine.
If you don't like the term, that's you. 👍️
