I think the new killer is Springtrap
A lot of people are thinking it's Wendingo Until Dawn, but honestly I think Springtrap is more likely.
The teaser could take place after Fazbear Frights burns down in Fnaf 3 and Springtrap is able to escape, possibly into the wood.
Obviously a fire would possibly burn the springlock suit he was in, and it is speculated that he possibly was able to possess a different one considering next time we see him in a game his suit looks completely different. So that could explain the white arm we see, as his arm could of turned white from burns.
Also before some says "bUt shOuLDN't hiS ArM Be PurPLe???", William Afton (AKA the Purple Guy/the man in the springtrap suit) doesn't have purple skin. Scott just chose that color to portray him in the Sprite minigames.
Honestly I think Springtrap has more going for him than Wendigo, especially since I didn't know what that or Until Dawn was before the teaser came out.

Nobody needs to read it any more. We've all seen the 3500 posts, and that's just counting yours.
We get it, the big fuzzy teddy bears are soooo mature, and the lore that changes every game is so deep. FNaF is truly a horror icon because it took so much effort to copy and paste a jump scare 100 times in a $2 game, it really stands up against horror icons that have transcended generations.

I'm sorry but this isn't speculation, this is a pure circus you're trying to conjure up.
I don't know what convinces you that the teaser has any relation to Springtrap, especially when it's a killer on all fours with a naked bare arm slashing at the viewer. From what I remember, Springtrap doesn't screech like that either, so you're obviously trolling.

Alright, I'll pretend I'm taking this seriously for a second. The killer is a woman, or at least sounds like one. I don't think it's licensed at all and even then I still think Until Dawn is closer to the trailer.

As popular as FNaF is, Silent Hill will always be a far more remembered series, at least in my opinion. It still has videos talking about how great they are two decades later. It's nowhere near niche.

Yeah just googled it, it was semi that teased a new silent hill game but it was cancelled shortly after. So even Konami knows the Silent Hill ud a lost cause.

People still love Silent Hill. PS4's with PT sell for THOUSANDS of dollars.
Silent Hill is always going to be cared about. I doubt we'll see videos two decades after FNaF's release calling it a horror masterpiece.

It was supposed to be Silent Hill's reboot after several years of an inactive IP, when the demo released alot of people loved it, however it never released due to an argument that occurred at Konami between 2 people, resulting in someone being fired (I believe this is the Kojima and Konami incident) and the PT demo being removed from the PS store. And if you think it was a bad game so they removed it you can buy a PS4 with a copy for a ridiculous amount of money and people actually bought one of these too.
PT is still so popular that people remade the entirety of the demo, resulting in Konami taking these remakes down and even offered an internship to one of them

I mean, Silent Hill 2 is considered by many to be the best and scariest horror game ever made. Outside of streamer/youtubers the only people I've seen who actually like FNAF are actual children.
