BHVR all exclusive Items pls free for all or for no one
Hello,
we all know it. Last patch sinse a bug now we have all theese sweet items like twitch shirts, Dev shirt, Panda TV shirts and other stuff ingame. Now devs want to remove this Items from all players; if they doesn´t deserve. The question is why ? Exclusive Items are bad for the game. Same with Legacy.... is it so hard to bring back theese Items as an Throwback Event with old conditions ? or maybe in the shop or like an charity case 2.0 ? Siriously, theese Items are only cosmetics not much more, so make all exclusives ingame free for everyone or no one. I mean i was working too for my hound exclusive and stuff like that and the devs was making them free now. Anyone care about me ? NO. I accept that, so why BHVR can´t do that with all the other items ?

Having items exclusives is something that the developers explicitly want. It's more effort to remove the items than just letting people keep them. Therefore players not having them is intentional.
Any sort of licensing agreements do not apply to all of the items either, such as the "Crew" shirt for Nea, and possibly others.

They won't bring legacy back because it was really hard to level up one character back in the days. I've spent countless hours getting my 5 survivor legacy, It's basically a reward for people who had played and invested their time into the game. About those exclusives, why would they give you a TTV shirt if you're not a streamer? People stream and build their own communities to get it. The same goes for all other exclusives like PandaTV, Crew shirt etc.

sure, ive spend also many many hours of playing to get theese items and now they bring it back in the shop or free for everyone, so pls don´t come with this bored argument anymore. Everyone knows that legacy items was not easy to get. But i see no diffrent between a throwback event wit the same conditions or grinding dbd on 2016. In my opinion exclusives are bad for the game.

You know currently that the game will probably last for a while, and can therefore feel comfortable sinking however many hours into it. Back in 2016, nobody knew if this game would survive or not. No matter what you rollback to 2016 values to try and make the legacy grind, you cannot replace that uncertainty of the game's future. Furthermore, nobody even knew they were getting legacy, and so it was just an additional reward for those that grinded more.
Nothing will be able to compare to 2016 grind due to those two factors.
Legacy will not be returning (as much as I want it to).

I only managed to get Meg, Jake, and Nea full legacy and I only got the weapon on Nurse. I wish I would've just threw away life to get full legacy on everyone lol.

Since they gave out the special Ace hats, they should let people keep the Panda TV shirts. The other yellow shirt on Dwight and Meg should also be kept.
Nea's dev team shirt and the Twitch shirts however should be taken away. If you don't stream or you haven't worked on the game, then you shouldn't have the cosmetics. Plain and simple.

My only issue with the plan to take away the most recent cosmetics is them screwing up and taking OTHER cosmetics as well that were bought/earned. My level of trust that they won't screw that up is currently very low. 😒

A lot of these type of posts are based around the idea that exclusives are bad for the game. Can someone explain why exclusives are bad for the game?
