Repeat offenders should just be banned from the PTB. Lessons gotta be learned.
Im talking about people that do it a lot, the odd one may be due to being stuck somewhere (it is a test build after all).
I think we all saw that building on the yamoka estate that you couldn't get out of in the last ptb, so there needs to be a little bit of slack or a way to notify when Leaving the match due to bug, perhaps it saves the last 30 seconds of gameplay when you choose that option...(not sure on bandwidth etc to do that though, so that might be to hard to do)

Seen it a lot as well. but mostly because people be slugging like crazy on PTB with Babymomma and no one's sticking around for a 3 minute match with 5 gens up and 3 survivors slugged.

Yup, I tried to play it yesterday and the whole team dc'd after a couple of seconds and first sacrifices. I mean, why even come here if you do this? To check the killer out? Could've just watch someone's video.

Yeah I never understood why disconnecting was still allowed during the PTB. I get why that feature is needed for live matches, but the PTB serves no real purpose other than to test out new content for possible bugs or glitches.
If gamers aren't going to take the PTB seriously, then they either need to be given a heavy disconnect penalty, or be refused to disconnect in the first place.

Survivors want to face the new killer but DC if not them. Thing is it maybe someone trying out another killer with the new killers perks or simply trying out new combos/tactics where they cannot be penalised on Live.
But yes the DC's are annoying

Nope. I'm relatively in favor of the DC penalty on the live version, but it absolutely has no place in the PTB. If you run into game breaking/game ruining glitches (on a player test build... where it can be very common to run into glitches) you should not be punished for DCing. They want to encourage people to play the PTB, not discourage it.

^ this point enough should make clear why DC-Penalties dont make sense on the PTB.
It is a testing ground, the chances for Bugs are higher than on the Live Version.

Yes, with the presence of multiple game-breaking bugs because it is literally a BETA let's enforce DC penalties and punish the users for issues with the game. Okay but in all seriousness there are multiple bugs with Victor that makes it unplayable for the killer, a bug where survivors are stuck with Victor but cannot pull him off making them unable to do anything and remove the ability of the killer to use victor at all, and people who are just genuinely trolling with the new killer and not doing anything. I get that it is frustrating to encounter DC's but there's a reason why there is no penalty.

I think it depends on the situation. If you get grandma swamp and the killer for some reason went Freddy I think you should be allowed to DC. as you are not play testing one of the reworked maps nor the new killer, you are just playing a normal match which ruins the point of playing in the PTB....
