Losing rank due to no fault of your own

Why is it still necessary for us to lose rank if the killer or a survivor DCs.

It's not my fault they left the game, but im getting punished for it. Doesnt seem fair

  I have the same question as well. Kind of dumb design if not a bug tbh.

  Same reason you get immediately disqualified from completing a challenge or achievement, or the last survivor dc'ing for hatch.

  Because survivor is the real power role. :)

  A non-salty response would be: i dunno, spaghetti code?
