Dedicated Servers are becoming unplayable (Saturday 3pm)
I don't know if you diverted resources for the PTB or if it's the weekend activity, but european DbD on the live version of the game is currently outright unplayable. And the ingame ping is just straightup lying to my face. I'm seeing action delays of 0,5-1 full second, with hitboxes lagging up to two seconds behind (as shown by a huntress happily farming hits on empty air repeatedly)
Please for the love of god give me an option to get back to peer2peer already, i'll pay you a hundred bucks just to turn dedicated servers off. They do not work in europe. I have queuetimes of upwards of 15 minutes to get matched with literal chinese and russian players. Get me off of these hellish servers, i'm begging you to let me pay you to let me play in a way that causes you less infrastructure costs (and no cheater will repeatedly pay a 100€ entry just to get out of the dedicated server bracket to hack)
Showing me 24ms ping (which is roughly what my internet connection offers to any game) and then having gameplay with 500-2000ms ping effectively is just unacceptable. Stop it.

today I had 5 matches where one survivor was AFK, a minute passes and the match gets cancelled for the rest of the players

not in europe so i can't speak for you but in the US where i am the servers haven't had any issues. most of the time they are actaully better than post dedicated servers.

Exactly the same thing for me, we finished a gen. I saw an afk Nea. End of the game, 0 bloodpoint, so fun !

I suffered from it until some days ago but never 2 times in the same day playing solo q, today I was just playing killer and happed to 5 of my survivors

currently experiencing exactly that.
tried playing two games now and both got cancelled like a minute into the match

Yeah this is happening all the time. The game kicks one person out for no apparent reason, everyone else loads in and starts to play and then after a minute the match is cancelled. I just hope they’re aware of whatever the hell bug this is.

Lucky you. As a fellow European I can confirm these issues are happening in Europe. Clearly they're not happening in NA, and that's amazing, but it doesn't make OPs experience less valid because you're lucky enough to not experience these servers deciding to play Sudoku.

A fog whisperer had a buddy share exploit to avoid DC penalties where that happens. I've seen increase since it was shared in videos.

Of course it should be fixed as you guys have no control over that.

Yeah I watched a clip about it. Content creator sharing exploit, fog whisperer aproving it, devs clapping at them

It's getting worse day by day. Getting hit after the lunge, doesnt happen with all the killers, it's the worst when there are crossplay player in the lobby.

I am not sure if something changed over the last few weeks as being on the US east coast I randomly get put in servers where my killer ping is 130+ where most of the time its below 50.
This of course could be them expanding for regions with less players so they can get a game. It may put you in with them for faster matchmaking.

Yeah that's pretty common lately. I've even gotten someone downed or hooked, then the game ends because someone else lost connection a minute earlier.

I've been getting long waits with 200 ms servers when I'm usually 30-50. I can only assume EU is full up and its forcing me onto US or something.

Yeesh, that actually sounds really bad. In NA the servers seem as fine as they always have been, in other words far from perfect, but damn they sound awful in EU. Usually I overlook this stuff cuz, y'know lots of stuff on the forums tends to be entitled players whining about the other side, but that sounds really sucky, hopefully it gets better

Not only that, it takes 5-10 mins at prime time to find a match (rank 14 Survivor+crossplay/Series X)
(on my Xbox One X, it took average about 30 seconds to a minute all day long)
Either everybody stopped playing since Xbox series x was released, or something wrong
