Who is the best Pyramid Head main you know (in terms of chases)?
Would like to watch some "elite" Pyramid Head main's clips to gather some information regarding chase durations. So no players who switch targets. Basically by elite I'm referring to PH mains who consistently do well with his power and commit to chases.

Well if you wanted footage of good pyramid head mains you're likely not gonna find a good killer that doesn't switch targets, because a good killer doesn't commit too long to chases.
But Idk maybe Otz has some good PH clips, he's the only one that comes to mind.

I know it sounds kinda weird considering good killers switch targets pretty often - especially against strong loopers but I'd like to see what the "average chase duration of PH" was if he was played by a die-hard PH main who happened to commit to every chase.
Otz is pretty good with just about any killer but since he target switches like any good killer you can't really calculate any averages throughout a match.
(if someone knows a particular match where he commited to every chase I'd love to watch it, of course)

I play him less now than I did before but I'd still call myself a pretty damn good PH, provided I actually try in chases, don't get a map with too much verticality, and I'm not going for POTD-only runs lol. I could try and get a couple games strung together if you wanted?
If say that @MusicNerd_TC can vouch for my gameplay but he ain't on the forums to do so anymore, but I can try and get a response from him to back me up if my word alone ain't enough.

Actually I thought about both of you when I created the thread but I wasn't sure if you uploaded clips.
If you are willing to upload a match / or even a few matches where you commit to every chase I'd really like to watch it and see what his average chase duration looks like (especially if you happen to find some strong survivors)!

I hate to self-promote but, I like to believe that I'm atleast a pretty good Pyramid main, I run a very, very small YouTube channel.
I'm definitely not as good as Otz, I've never seen GoodBoyKaru play before so I can't compare myself to him

Aight here's 3 games, literally an hour after I woke up. Wasn't exactly tip-top shape, since the first game is literally my 3rd game of killer since reset lol.
Quality still processing but it should be 1080p (hopefully, if my OBS and editing software didn't die horribly). As of posting though we still stuck in 360p.
2nd game I get frustrated at Badham being a ######### map for PH and his power. Pretty obvious that I'm getting annoyed but, ah well, the other two games go substantially better (thanks Feng).

I do try to use PoTD at animation locks as any Pyramid Head would but I do like to use it outside locks alot as well, getting a good hit with PoTD is so much more satisfying than one at a pallet or window

I've just finished watching the first match and before I'm posting the stats I want to thank you for taking your time to do this and also one of the survivors you killed in your first match used to harrass and insult me (before crossplay) so that made the match even more enjoyable to watch.

Nice flicks. Have to try them out as well. I play alot of Pyramid Head too, he is kind of my favourite Killer at the moment. Hitting those shots trough walls feels...

You couldn't commit to all chases as you had to defend gens and some people managed to win their chases (I can tell why you hate the map as PH) so here are the stats of the chases you won.

Honestly when Pyramid Head was revealed I was so hyped I couldn't even think clearly so I didn't really pay attention to what people said about him. Did people really consider him a bad killer? I genuinely have no idea what people said haha...
@jdcabral Sounds good. Try not to target switch unless you absolutely have to 👍
Perhaps we should do something like this for other killers, too.
Clown is getting reworked soon so maybe @TheClownIsKing could gather some matches so we can compare Clown's average chase performance before and after his rework?

Not sure about the specific situation, but fungoose is always a good fall back to watch for good play and good explanations of why he's doing things when he's doing them. I haven't been able to catch one of his streams in a while, but I'd be surprised if he hasn't done some work with PH.

Pyramid Head is gonna be extremely hard to get an average chase time for.
He destroys predictable Survivors and can get downs in less than 20 seconds if he reads them like a book.
But a very self aware Survivors that mindgame could take like 60 seconds.

Honestly I wasn't too worried at the point of the 2 minute chase with Feng since things were going pretty good so I wanted to try and go for some fun flick shots and wasn't trying too hard.
I swear they don't usually last that long.

Just to show how oppressive and powerful Pyramid Head can be on a good day.

Those are some extremely quick chases. Were they trying to play the match injured?

No they were definitely healing, I think it's mostly just they weren't the finest at trying to juke the hit so it led to some fairly easy double punishment hits.

I feel like I was doing particularly well on the day I recorded this, I hope that's attributed to me being a good Pyramid Head and not just rank reset putting me against less-seasoned survivors.

Also if we're bumping the thread, here's another game I had recently. Pretty proud of it, if I do say so myself.
Map: Badham Preschool V
Chases: 12 total
Chase 1: 5 seconds for first hit, 20 seconds total
Chase 2: 3 seconds for first hit, 8 seconds total
Chase 3: 12 seconds for first hit, 49 seconds total (having kicked a gen and injured another survivor in the process)
Chase 4: 1 second for first hit, 2 hits with the same attack (getting one down), 22 seconds total
Chase 5: 6 seconds for first hit, 6 seconds total
Chase 6: 6 seconds for first hit, 23 seconds total (I'm so proud of that play you don't even know)
Chase 7: 3 seconds for first hit, 22 seconds total
Chase 8: 14 seconds for first hit, 30 seconds total
Chase 9: 46 seconds for first hit, abandons chase after 77 seconds
Chase 10: 1 second for first hit, 1 second for down
Chase 11: 4 seconds for first hit, 4 seconds total
Chase 12: 5 seconds for first hit, 5 seconds total
Average time for first hit: 8.83 seconds (5.455 without that 46 long one).
Average total chase time: 17.273 seconds without the chase abandoned (22.5 seconds with the chase abandoned).
