Ping question.

How high does ping have to be to make YOU feel like it's unplayable?.

I know we all prefer low ping but I've been wondering for others.

As a survivor I play regularly on ping that's around 150 whilst playing with friends in USA/Canada and that's not too bad because I've got used to it, so I can judge the hit length a bit better now. Normally playing solo my ping to the server is around 30 and that's of course much better as it's more "in real time". I'm just very aware when playing survivor with a higher ping that when in chases etc, the killer is usually at least a step closer to me than is showing on my screen - so drop a pallet slightly earlier than I normally would or not chance a risky window vault etc.

When playing killer, as the server currently goes from your own ping then you are not at a disadvantage when playing killer if your ping to the server is high.

Interesting, I thought I was going to read something like "above 100 is unplayable" I'm really surprised that 150ms is ok when you are used to it.

    Thanks for sharing!.

Everything is playable when your used to it. My computer runs a smooth 20 fps with average 120 ping and it feels just fine

Sad to hear that your pc runs like that, and thanks for letting me know that you are also ok with above 100.
