believe it or not there's a shitload of players who have hacks and you know this if you're facing a wall and they can still blind you

That's actually a pretty common bug rn. You can get blinds without being on the killer's screen. It's pissy but also it's dbd.
Though there definitely are people who use these aimbotd and they're honestly pathetic.

A crutch is something that's supposed to be in the game. A bug, hack, or exploit is not a crutch.

AFAIK they changed the blind to be within the killers sight and changed it back shortly after when people realized just how bad the killer fov is and cried on the forums that flashlight saves were to hard.
it was still less than the 190 degrees they had (looking at old blind montages)

It's just part of the game, and has been since flashlights were added, it's just less and less things are worth complaining about on the killer side now so they go after nuanced and rare things because survivors are "op". lmao

Ironically, they just claimed to have 'fixed' a bug that let you sometimes see through walls while hugging them with a fleshlight... I wouldn't be surprised if the fix somehow led to this new bug lmao.

Flashlight has some counter intuitive features, and it´s not about hacks (or at least I'm yet to see one of a kind being used). On top of out-of-FOV blinds themselves, there's actually segregation among killer in terms of who can be blinded this way and who can't, despite all of them sharing the same FOV (assuming no perks used).
Just like legion tech and delayed fast vaults, this mechanic doesn't make much sense to me.

There's no such thing as flashlight aimbot, there's game knowledge and addons that work well with certain killer's perks.
Power bulb and focus lens works when the killer has mna even if he's facing a wall

Never had a problem with flashlights. I don't know if I have some mad gifted power from the gods above or something, but I really don't understand why people complain about them.
Keep your back to the flashlight at all times. It's really not that difficult especially on PC with a mouse.

You said it yourself, it's a feature, so it's not a bug, hack or exploit.
"Sounds Like A Sweaty Surv Main" Ok, not really, I'm the worst with flashlights and have never been able to do this, but I also know it's incredibly rare and has to be well timed to even happen so I'm not going to cry about it like every other killer does bc when it happens to me someone actually put effort into doing it.
