Why players who are entitled or inexperienced HATE camping and tunneling
Why do inexperienced players hate it?
They hate it because it makes them feel helpless and is unfun. They also aren't good enough (due to lack of experience) to actually recover from these strategies. I know what this is like because I was once them, I used to hate camping until I played killer and understood when and when not to camp as well as why killers camp in the first place. They hate it because it ruins the fun for them (obviously) and I know you probably already know this, but I just wanted to explain why players despise the two strats.
Why do entitled players hate it?
For the same reason, as well as being entitled. I feel no need to explain this one now that I think of it. Anything is toxic to them.
Note: Not just newer and entitled players hate this, I just notice much more hate from these two groups of people.
For the record, they are strategies.

Camping in an unfun way is rarely a good strategy and leads to getting genrushed. There are benefits and consequences to camping. Its a strategy.

This is an interesting claim.
Are you talking about face-camping and hard tunneling, or the lighter version of these? (Where the Killer is forced to do it.)

I feel the issue is there are a large % of survivors that forget to "gen rush" if the killer is camping. Camping is a strategy but it sucks for the killer most of the time. The survivor's are ultimately the ones in control when the killer decides to face camp. If more survivors learned to do gens instead of hook rushing then less killers would camp.

Camping does work very will against inexperienced survivors because they don't usually exploit the mechanics of Borrowed Time/DS and they don't seem to understand that gen rushing is the best counter.

Because of solo queue

Here we go again. Oh god

I hope you realize just about everyone hates it. I hate it and when the killers need to do it I hate it but at the end of the match and I calm down I understand and don't hold it against them. But this implies that good players dont care and If you hate it you are a bad or entitled player

People hate losing, in general, and take Survivor death as losing. Some of us take it like good sports, and the rest look for things to complain about and scapegoat. Ownership of our losses is what marks us as mature, adult human beings. Age is no guarantee of maturity.

Bruh I got 4 years on here. Camping outside of activated exit gates or turning around and seeing amount of scratch marks is pure trash gameplay.

Any form of both really.

but the reason killers like to camp and tunnel is because its a simple, lazy strat not much effort goes into it to win. after awhile though you have to admit camping and tunneling becomes super unfun and gets old quickly. lets say you have every perk for every killer and every killer prestige 3, whats the point in camping or tunneling at that point other than to be toxic and ruin someone elses game experience. sounds to me like killers are entitled or feel entitled to kills.

I can understand that almost everyone hates it, I have just noticed more disgust from entitled and newer players.

*DEEP SIGH* I can't believe I'm actually joining in. Whatever...
Playing against these so called strategies is annoying and unfun. Mainly because the Killer decided to play like this, but also because if you're playing solo, most of the time your teammates will try to save the unfortunate soul getting camped, and that usually—no, *always*—results in their defeat.
They then start blaming the Killer for choosing to camp, forgetting that they were mostly the ones in control of the situation.
It's enjoyable seeing these topics every day. Not really...

Well your claim that solo survivors always lose against camping or tunneling is wrong. Also the reason I run kindred is because of different situations such as the one described above. It can save the rest of your team in a campy situation.
We already know that the strategies are unfun to play against, I just wanted to state the reasons why these two groups of people are more hateful towards them.

Nice bait.

Not really a crutch, more like a situational strategy.
