Pip System
Oh my gosh y'all... My game breaks so often and I have had a bad streak of games where I'll go against a red rank killer and be matched with green/low purple ranks and I have gone down so. many. pips. I don't know if I should be more upset about the MMR, or the fact that I expect my game to crash at least once every day! I think what annoys me the most about it is that I depip and I have almost given up on this game because of that. I play well, and I am not going to blame everything on my teammates, but sometimes the matchmaking is... rather bad. On both sides. I guess that's my first negative post, but I'm just upset that my game crashing causes a penalty and messes up my rank, even though I understand why they implemented it.

Yea, it's really frustrating to lose a game to something that is actually out of your control. In terms of matchmaking, it definitely sucks - I would play with a SWF. Even if you're not on coms, you at least know you have a reliable team. Personally, I don't play the game to escape, I just meme and try to do funny things to keep the game interesting. At a certain point, the game becomes stale and that's when you have to invent your own objectives. Whether it's trying to pebble the killer or running a plunder build, it'll be more fun.
Are you on console? I heard they have been having more crashing issues recently.

I have no friends who enjoy this game, and I am not playing rocket league lol! And yes, I am on xbox one and heard about the series x/s crashing or not booting up, but this has been happening for months. I'll try to keep tally and look for any trends, because it has only been dbd, but I'm not sure. And I love goofing around, I just hate that I'm already down to rank 6 from rank 4 in 2 days ;w;
