The farming problem and the dc penalty
The killer wants to farm, but I dont.
I point to the hook so I can leave the match by killing myself on hook.
Killer downs me and wants me to wiggle free instead of hooking me.
Basically holding the game hostage for me, in a way.
So I dc and I get 5 minutes, which is still faster than waiting out the most boring game of the year.
Tell me what I am supposed to do in this situation?
I message the killer and he tells me to "get a life" - although he is the kind of guy farming in a video game made for fun. How is this fun?
Deactive dc penalty against certain killers. Make a system who collects names of farmers and deactivate the dc penalty for people against them. It's like the only way of solving this issue.

Takes longer than getting a 5 minute dc penalty. It's boring. It's not how you are supposed to play. It's against the rules what the killer does and survivors get punished for it.

Just do the gens asap and go. If he sees that you don't try to farm, he might kill you faster.

Yeah, stop crying about problems of the game. This is a forum about discussions, talking about problems and other sorts of things about this game. If you have nothing useful to add, might aswell leave this forum and go farm as Killer. Can't even complain about problems being in this game since dc penalty is there.

You are complaining about something which happens really rarely. Outside of Double BP-Events I get a farming Killer like once every 100 games on average. And I doubt I am in the minority.
Maybe farming Killers are a little bit more frequent because of the Billy-Challenges (which are not hard, but not everyone plays Billy on a regular basis), but it is still a rare occasion.
And if you dont want to do the Gens and leave, DC if you like, but dont complain about the penalty.

I really don't get why people complain about farming killers. I think the last farming killer I had was back during the Bloodhunt we had BEFORE the halloween "event" one. During the halloween weekend I didn't got a single farming killer but instead was greeted by lots of Moris together with camping and tunneling...
If I would see a farming killer, I would take my chance and go for max BPs instead of DC'ing and then complaining about it on the forums ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

That's right, but on low ranks, farming isn't that rare. Bad killers always want to farm because otherwise they would always leave the game with less than 15k points.
I'll keep dcing against farmers, even if I will get hourly banned eventually. Waiting 5 minutes or even 15 is more fun than doing gens all game. If the penalty gets too high, just stop playing lol. Great solution...

Getting a farming Killer is rare, lol. They’re always the silliest games and on top of that, free bloodpoints.
But anyways, feel free to correct me if I’m wrong: You DC’ed because the match isn’t fun?
DC’ing because a match, a farming match of all games, isn’t fun is just not the way to go.
Not all matches are gonna be fun. And disconnecting because of this is one of the reasons why the DC penalty is here.

If you don’t participate in the farm, the other survivors will often point you out to the killer when they see you from hook.
Usually, you can get 3 gens done before they are out of hooks (that is, if they are messing around with hitting and healing).
Hopefully, if 1 gen was completed at the start of a match, there’s the chance you could get that 5th gen completed. Tho they usually will have found you by then, thirsty like BP vampires to farm you for your 2 unhooks, especially after you took all the gen points they wanted to get together with you by 99ing all the gens for max points then completing the 5 to open the gates.
I enjoy the occasional farm. It’s a refreshing break from the relentless brutality of everyday Solo queue.
