Twins weakest killer of all time?! Buy DLC or not ?

question: I wasnt on the PTB cause to many work and stuff like that. But what i hear and saw on streams, here on forums ect. The twins is the weakest killer of all time. So is it good to buy the new DLC soon or not ? What do you think ?

I'll not buy it with IRL money, instead I'll buy it with shards. Usually I support the devs and buy the chapter (although I have 40k shards) but this time I will use my shards because I am really not happy with their balance decisions of this chapter.

I will buy it with money (7 Euros are faster to get than 18k Auric Cells). But I am not looking forward playing the Twins, at least on the PTB they did not seem enjoyable to play for me. But I will give them a go once all the changes they wrote about yesterday are implemented.

I'll buy it, probably with money because I don't have many shards saved and the current cells I have I wanna use for cosmetics or the next rift, but honestly only for Elodie. I don't see myself playing the Twins, well, ever, and the only perk I was excited for (Coup de Grace) got nerfed lol. I'll have it just for the sake of being able to say that people are P3 50 all perk'ed, but yeah. Elodie all the way, we stan.

This may be the first time I'll hold off buying a killer day 1. I've always said that fun killers are more important to me than strong killers.
But The Twins are so absurdly weak and unfinished that it actually hampered my enjoyment playing them and I feel like I'd be throwing cash into a void. I'll wait until some time after launch where they are actually playable.

I didn't buy blight with money last time as I considered him extremely unoriginal design, not caring how strong he is as he just wasn't fun for me.
This time I completely love the originality of twins and during PTB I was doing just fine with them (even with all their problems) but most importantly I had fun so yes I'll be buying them with money.
If they prove to be weak even after the changes devs are planning for them they'll eventually get buffed even more until they're fine. I understand their concers with over buffing twins through, they're significantly different from all other killers with having tow bodies on the map and victor is 150% mm speed who can down, it's very dangerous to buff him since he could easily become pretty opressive in hands of good twins player.
Overall, I think it's definetly worth to buy as you can use IS to get them without spending real money.

killer on ptb was absolutely super meme bully simulator and I was really gonna wait for what buffs and mechanic changes they were going to do.. yes they are making victor to recall but 45 secs its nothing - once again devs have no idea how much 45 secs for killer as m1 is so that one is still crap..
locker question : I mean do you really wanna buy with real money something which is crap and not desinged yet ? At least it looks like they have to release it due to higher management while they know that killer will be from day one super countered and almost no one will be playing her after 1st day... yeah future fix will be there but we know bhrv.. the fix will come in like month and a half in mid patch by the time no one will ever care..
And its bad for money as well, becasue 1st impression is the most important.. Kilers or unexperienced players will be aksing hows killer ? Communitys response : they are just super bully material and if you want even more frustrative experience go head and buy it.. I think this dlc will be the least bought dlc ever due how much ######### it is sadly.. And releasing product which you know is in total mess and needs a t least weeks of work is just baffling me... so no will buy her with shards and play her after idiotic locker counter

Its still a new and uniqe killer that is fun to play as and vs, weak yes but atleast its not something that makes you wanna uninstall plus the killer abd survivor perks are all pretty decent

I had fun with them on the PTB, so I will buy them at some point. I would usually buy the DLC on day one, but this time i'll wait until they release the locker fix. Alternatively, I could still buy it when it releases, but wait to play until the fix arrives. I'm not sure what i'm going to do yet...

I don't even really want to buy them with shards and I got those just for logging in. Just from the planned changes they've already said the locker fix won't even be there at release. The fact that they still haven't fixed the Blight's POV yet makes me wonder what's the point of buying the new killer if they're gonna be broken for who knows how long?

If that locker thing isn't included in some way for launch, even with placeholder animations or sounds. This killer will be practically unplayable. I expect to see even less of her in her launch week than I did Demogorgon.

normally i buy a new killer day 1 with real money but recently im not happy with the descision the compagnie took so i will wait to have enough shard and for the locker fix.
i really hope other player will do that bhvr need to know the player are not happy with the game right now but the whale continue to trow their money at them like some sort of stupid #########

Nah devs were way too cautious with this killer and with the recent buffs they're still being overly cautious with the killer powers. The power sounds OP on paper but it's comically weak in practice. People will still buy her but the PTB definitely killed the hype especially for new players.
PTB should generally start off with the killer being strong and then you can introduce counters, cooldowns and nerfs in response to the feedback. Devs essentially released an already nerfed killer.

I'm probably going to wait a bit before picking up these characters (whether with money or shards).
Killer doesn't seem to be in a good spot yet (and may not be by their release), I'm not really interested in playing Elodie, and the new perks aren't anything special. I'd rather just exercise some patience and see how this Chapter unfolds after release before I commit any currency towards it.

Bad killer with 1 okayish perk. I don't care about Survivor skins and they have one meh perk. Hard pass for me.

No, they just have a strange power that people havn't fully learned how to use effectivly yet. They're be coincided very weak at first but slowly rise up the ranks imo.

I played Twins whole PTB week and i'll say they're not weak, people just don't know how to play them. There is a lot of stuff you can do and global presence is their main strength. I'll buy them on release day and play hell out of them

I'll eventually unlock them with shards in the future. The Twins aren't worth any real money as of right now.
They're very very weak.
People need to stop throwing money at devs for mediocre and unfinished work.

I'm probably not getting the Killer, I will get the Survivor with shards because I want some of her perks but the Killer is extremely weak and her perks are meme tier trash.

Currently I'm debating whether they'll be my next 9k shard purchase or Doctor will.
Though I do very much want them to add the option to drop Viktor and stay in control of Charlotte and the ability to manually recall Viktor. Like not while he's on someone or anything... when I'm Charlotte and Viktor is just chilling somewhere. Let me call him back and not force me to wait however long it is for him to come back on his own.

They've said that they are working on blight's POV but it's not a simple two second fix.
Like someone else said they are being cautious with buffing the twins because of the insane potential they have, especially with how fast and lethal victor can be.

Buy with iri shards if you have to, but otherwise no. They're basically releasing them half-assed, so.. I dunno, doesn't seem worth it to me. Not for real money, anyway.

The Twins are getting a full-on rework from how they played in the PTB, so I don't plan on getting them until everything is complete. BHVR pushing it out the door before all the changes have been implemented is just greedy.

Something I'd just like to remind you guys of:
Back when Blight was coming down the pipeline, everyone said basically the same thing about him that they're saying about the Twins now.
Frankly, I have no idea if the Twins will actually be any good on release, because I don't work at BHVR, but I'm keeping an eye on the Twins because of this general sentiment towards them being weak.
I theorize that there is one specific strategy people have yet to figure out about her, similarly to how Blight was revealed to be almost Nurse-tier strong after people got used to him.

Blight is frustrating to play, but he's mobile and can get downs fairly quickly. He also doesn't have his power disabled for 45 seconds minimum if a survivor decides to carry the baby, gremlin, goblin, w/e the frick on their back.

This is true, but like I said, I'm hesitant to count the Twins out until live release and people have had a couple weeks to experiment with the Twins.
They could surprise us yet.

You shouldn't ask if they're weak, you should instead ask if they are fun.
Unfortunately I know the answer to neither of those points, so I couldn't tell ya either way.
