Is it just me or is ph power slow

No I don't mean his trail of torment his attack seems so slow it's almost a full 2s I feels like and it's easy to dodge because they drop a pallet and I still can't hit them with his power or when I play against him I literally can hold forward and wait for the bright glow and side step and if they don't I run to a window or pallet is this just me

Its best used when the start of the attack is out of view of the survivor or the survivor is locked into an animation and unable to juke it. Using it out in the open is usually a bad idea.

This is precisely the reason his power is still used mostly in animation locks despite the nerf to try and fix it. You have to be very very good using his power and even so, the survivor has the last say on whether it lands or not.

Yes I know it's best used in animation but sometimes it's so slow I do that and it's still a miss

yeah even with it "buff" where the cooldown been reduced 2.75 to 2.25 i think the dev missed the point of why we are using the the potd on fixed points like animation lock instead of open areas is that potd is to easy to predict for survivors and easy to dodge if you arent in a animation lock they really should of done this for a buff

    POTD:

increase speed of the damage wave of POTD

decrease the spawn of the trial of POTD

increase cooldown of POTD back to orginal vaule

so its harder for survivors to predict it and dodge it which in turns will allow PH killers to take more chances to do open shots instead of doing it in animation locks

His power is amazing, it's just a high skill cap. I would put it at potentially the hardest ability in the game to land on a good player, next to nurse blinks and blight bounces at tight loops.

You can literally 2 tap people with it and it feels disgusting when you do. Feathering and using it just for animation locks feels.....meh to me. PH trails are really not that good for map control unless you are using duration add-ons so you are mostly left with his M2 as his power.

And only using M2s for animation locks? You might as well play Deathslinger at that point. I lob M2s at people pretty much nonstop when I am playing PH, even out in the open sometimes where I could just M1 them because it's way more satisfying.
